I just bought a 5800 black Zitron set. I've tried NSU, but it says my newest firmware is only v31. I've check the product code @ nokia europe and it also says the same.

Refering to this web: http://www.techhail.com/mobiles/nokia-5800...homescreen/2839 ,my product code of 0573786 has update to v40 wor.

Any idea guys?

Does flashing my phone delete my SMS and Contacts?

I can't perform he following after flashing :

Delete C:\System\Data\RPPLus.dat (This file will be auto created once restart)
6. Delete C:\System\Data\FileMover.cap (This file will be auto created once restart)
7. Delete C:\System\Data\devlist.dat (This file will be auto created once restart)
8. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f875a\startup" (Delete files!)
9. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f875a\tasks" (Delete all file!)
10. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f6efa\" (Delete all files!)
11. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\102072c4\" (Delete all files!)
12. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f8857\Cache\CData\" (Delete all files!)
13. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "MEMORY CARD\Private\101f8857\Cache\CData\" (Delete all files!)
14. In memory card, create folder E:\Sys\Cache
15. In memory card, create folder E:\Received
16. Enable OPEN SYSTEM FILES patch in ROM Patcher to overcome Nokia standard browser issue.
17. Tips, after installing ure favorite applications do again step no. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12.

Those file are not found for me to be delete. And also what are the consequences if I dun delete it ?

Ok, enabling the hidden files does show the C:\Predic folder. But it still doesn't show "C:\Private\" Etc. And I also can't create E:\Sys Folder. Any idea if I dun do that what will happen to my phone ?

XM, can upload the txt file of the smooth kinetic scrolling and stopping? I mean the latest unannounced XFW one =D

thanks. sorry but I'm sure this have been ask but i don't find it clear enough.. manual flash do void warranty, but which warranty?? i just bought this phone last week, so if the flashing fail, the my Zitron 1 year warranty will be wasted??
