if the original FW detected, then just change the 3 files, ROFS2 (V22), ROFS3 and UDA.FPSX for XFW the click refurbish .. u can change / re-route these files by clicking options after Phoenix detects original FW

yes, can .. the .VPL and others has some GSM/3G signal tweaks tats all which is not so important

LOL .. last time i create developer edition section but no one read, but now i changed to FAQ already, u know wat, even in written format its hard to understand, even in DailyMobile site the language add / remove guide is totally wrong .. if u follow tat method in eg. Chinese language pack, u wont get qwerty multitap feature

from my personal experience it'll take quite long time, i did nearly 50 custom firmwares which only v1.0EC, v4.0 / v4.0EC and Symbian Beta now works fine .. get ready to flash ure phone for 80 times if u wanna be a developer

Done replacing the 3 files after Phoenix detected the original firmware files. Should I also replace the other files in the RM-356 folder with the XFW files as well? Or only the 3 files is sufficient?
Any performance affected?

first let it detect original FW, then change / re-route 3 the files .. tats all ..

wat i suggest u is, download XFW Symbian Beta .. extract and understand each files location .. the confusion part starts at RESOURCE folder and SYSTEM folder ..

That method failed
When I click refurbish, the warning "Getting list of files failed".

Tried to restart the whole procedure, now an error comes out when I click Options

XM now my JAF cannot Detect ini files =_="


Searching for default location of ini...

Searching for JAF saved location of ini...

No ini files found...

Anyone know roughly how long the v40 update process will go ? Its been increasing and increase and increase like no limit

Both increasing Now is 286mb and still counting. I update since around 1.30pm. Hopefully can be done by 4.45pm haha.
