QUOTE(~Mew~ @ Mar 26 2010, 11:08 AM) I think this is happening to me too. NSU only display v31 is latest. The mass problem of current users to migrate to v40.0.005 for APAC Malaysia users .. Nokia removed v40.0.005 from their list, im not sure wats the issue since it has not brought up to Nokia yet. There's no point trying FOTA or even NSU, users will still wont get, bcos it was pulled out from their list

Start PC Suite and connect phone into PC Suite mode when it asks .. 3. PC Suite will re-install / repair any driver issues .. 4. Observe the phone screen as a notification update may appear .. After finished, copy all firmware into Phoenix path .. and execute Phoenix and it should auto detect now ..

I saw in v40 (release on Jan 2010) change log it says "Rotate the phone horizontally, it automatically activates the QWERTY keyboard."
I have a friend (bought before Nov 2009)using 5800 too on v20, vertically is alphanumeric but horizontally it change to full qwerty keyboard AUTOMATICALLY. and its on v20. Is this weird ?
Cause mine v21, when vertically is in alphanumeric mode, horizontally also in alphanumeric mode.

Cause mine v21, when vertically is in alphanumeric mode, horizontally also in alphanumeric mode. they have certain features in v20 which re-released in v40 after some features like Kinetic Scrolling issue interfere with camera and screen rotation, the bugs report has been upped in Nokia Developer site long ago before releasing v40.0.005 .. till now v20 is the best FW from Nokia unfortunately no KS

Hm you mean after I do the above steps, Phoenix should be able to detect the firmware when I click "Firmware Updates" from the top? Because Phoenix detects my phone just fine, just that the XFW cant be selected. Haven't reinstall PC suite, takut conflict with phoenix
