i think font no support gua

1 thing, XM, about the sensitivity of kinetic scrolling, i found it so difficult to double tap something. especially when want to open msg in inbox. could u fix this thing. i love the HS especially the 3 buttons, since it make my life so easy with that. and i prefer if have search function. u know when u have memo or meeting noted everyday, so its easy to trace it.

anyway, hope to see ur XFW soon!

EC v1.0 Orange no problem also....

XM is there anyway to enable the startup animation and startup tone? I installed the GIF booting sis file and put the startup files in C:/boot but it doesn't work. I don't want to flash the phone so is there anything i can do?

since u already using the xfw so just follow below step to overcome the tornado boxing issue:

1. change back ur HS to others HS like the original wave or basic theme.
2. extact the attached fonts into your e:\resource\fonts folder
3. reboot your phone
4. change back your HS to the tornado HS

this font can read chinese d bo....

cannot, it's an english fonts where it will resolve the tornado box issue, for chinese i think the xfw he flashing already included and it should have both below fonts for full chinese support:

1. S60SC_C.ttf
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf

I'm not sure which xfw he's using but he can check on his Z:\resource\fonts folder and see what it have there, not forget though the S60ZDIGI.ttf

original malaysia apac firmware have 3 fonts loaded inside the Z: which are:

1. S60SC_C.ttf
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf
3. S60ZDIGI.ttf

if we want extra fonts support then we can extract it into the E:\resource\fonts folder where all fonts install there will get loaded as well during booting... but not all fonts are supported as try before with those huge korean language supported fonts inside the E: and it will failed to load... reason of failure is unknown and the solution is to use the font router

so this E:\resource\fonts is extra font lo???? the original 1 still can read chinese right?

yes, if only xm included the "right" chinese supported fonts in his xfw...

Added on March 22, 2010, 11:30 amremember the fonts only supporting for "READ", and for "WRITE" u will need more then just "a font" there are more files and tweak have to be done... that's why xm facing trouble previously with some of his xfw... what can do XM can't read chinese

so i think later he redo the mods using the original malaysia apac with minor tweak during languages removing... every single minor tweak might render the languange support unusable...

ok ltr i will try it....

This is my modified calibri font, which contains chinese characters. Download and make 3 copies and rename them into:
1. S60SC_C.ttf
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf
3. S60ZDIGI.ttf

then put in E:\resource\fonts
should be able to view chinese fonts already (with calibri alphabets)

Yay. Everything is fine now. No more boxes. But music player still mixture of eng, chi, and symbol.
