One thing about Spielberg, he loves 1.85:1 aspect ratio on most of his movies (except Minority Report; the one that comes to mind)... so it'll be a full-on experience on full screen on our 16:9 tv; hence no black bars... given some of us didn't like black bars.

i think Saving Private Ryan has more audio demo quality than PQ given the transfer was too stylised & grainy to my taste. but that judgement only based on dvd, the bd might change my mind...

Just wondering why the so-called Sapphire Series have so many flaws & shortcomings given it suppose to be the flagship/pinnacle of all editions
Though the flaws are nit picking and small imo, it shouldn't happened in the first place especially if they want to live up to the name SS; being the best of the editions. First with Gladiator, now with SPR..... or was all these marketing? Gladiator (remastered) will be re-release later this year, I heard... |

Seriously, this is the best sound I've ever heard, as peasant my home theater is, no theater I've ever went to ever sounds this good. And we've got a seriously misunderstood cinematography that gives the picture that artsy look to match. I say this is another winner in the Sapphire Series.
