Spot on, i was just going through the site and wanted to reply that Target dont ship items to MYS. Even i tried buying from Walmart , they dont seem to ship to MYS either.

Anyway, if the price drops after the release of Avatar on 22nd April, there's lots buy from all around the nationwide from Amazon , if it were to be offered USD20 / USD19.99

I'm not suprised if it does drop during after release on 22nd April.

Avatar Producer Talks Ultimate Edition Blu-ray

During a recent sneak preview of the Blu-ray of Avatar, producer Jon Landau revealed some more details of the ultimate edition that will come out in November. This four-disc edition will include a brand-new two-hour documentary on making Avatar, as well as unused additional scenes from the movie, which Weta Digital is now working on.

The additional scenes involve the Na'vi school run by Dr. Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), and Jake's training as a Na'vi.

Many of the bonus features in the ultimate edition will appear in the intervening months through the Avatar Program at avatarmovie.com using a unique code found inside the Avatar Blu-ray/DVD.

Avatar is also reopening in IMAX 3D in select cities this weekend.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief for release on June 22. Based on the popular book series by Rick Riordan and directed by Chris Columbus, this film follows trouble-prone teenager Percy Jackson, who gets embroiled with the Greek gods, as they suspect Percy of having stolen Zeus' lightning bolt. I'm suprised with the AQ comments as well cos d German version of this disc only has Dolby True-HD [IINM], and the French version has DTS HD MA [Bodega] , and the Big Home prod has all 3 Sound options.

The best version till date is the Big Home video ,the one D has as above. With slipcover

The remaining editions such as steelbook , limited editions are still region locked.

The 2 disc version @£14.99 is Region Free.

I read clearly that the steelbook remains Region B. Avatar 2 Disc edition, now on Region Free.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland Blu-ray Announced

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that it will release Alice in Wonderland on Blu-ray on June 1. This new reimagining of the Lewis Carroll classic, directed by Tim Burton, went on to earn close to $800 million at the worldwide box office, partly thanks to showings of its 3D conversion.

It will be presented in a three-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack (BD/DVD/Digital Copy)and one-disc Blu-ray editions. When this movie was about to open theatrically, Disney's plans to shorten the theatrical run of this movie and move forward its home video to early June had caused some friction between studio and exhibitors (see blu-ray.com, February 10).

Early morning silly question. I have been watching for the past couple of days and this title "Planet Terror" has remained USD9.99 [obviously after $3.00 deduction]. Has anyone watched this film on DVD / Blu-ray yet? The overall rating reaches 4.2 [almost recommended].

1. Wake Up Sid (BIG Home Video) <-- Authoring complete. Currently in final stages of production and should be out soon.
2. Race (UTV) <-- Authoring complete and check disk delivered to UTV.
3. My Name Is Khan (Fox - BIG Home Video) <-- Encoding complete.
4. Wake Up Sid (UTV) <-- Uses the same transfer and encode as the 'BIG Home Video' version, so authoring should not take too much time.
5. Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge (Warner - BIG Home Video)
6. Paa (BIG Home Video)
7. Kaminey (UTV)

Looks like even the Hollywood studios want to cut costs and therefore prefer to use Indian authoring companies instead of authoring them in-house. Or maybe they just decided to sell the 'home video' rights to "BIG Home Video', which is why 'My Name Is Khan' & 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge' are being authored in India.

Dostana Blu-ray Review

Just finish watching this fun & laughter film which took approx 2hrs 20 mins run. Took time to write this short review.

Film
This is a comedy & romance flick. JA & AB presents themselves with great show & acting talents. Priyanka Chopra was gorgeously presented.
All other supporting characters did well. Especially the American guy who came to inspect JA & AB's gay relationship. Funny!

Watch this film if you like one of a kind Hindi comedy

PQ
I thought Ghajini , New York , Fanaa had the great PQ transfer, but this definitely another great PQ release from Yash Raj. Contrast is good. Colors are lively. Especially when John Abraham & Abhishek goes to Neha's [Priyanka Chopra]'s flat for rental inquiry. The view was mesmerizing.

AQ
The film is lively, probably not dubbed in studio , live sound .. Although not mastered in DTS-HD MA 5.1 , since i only had Altec Lansing ATP3 2.1 , the AQ was loud and crystal clear.

Overall
PQ is surprisingly was good , AQ minus DTSHDMA , 5.1 should do great work on your HT. Yash Raj should look into more titles with DTSHDMA in future releases.

Alice In Wonderland PreOrder @ BB [Bestbuy.com] for $27.99 .
Almost USD3.50 lower than Amazon and no suprise that a whopping price been tagged on it for now by Amazon.

Maybe sooner it will decrease as you said [hopefully!]

How do we consider a title before we buy.

1. Do we buy BD because its cheap [obviously everyone does] ?
2. Do we buy BD after reading reviews and comments on the desired title?
3. Do we buy BD cos of good story line ?
4. Do we buy BD for the sake of PQ & AQ aspects?
5. Do we buy BD for ultimate high definition stuff?

What are other aspects you consider before you buy a Blu-ray title.

Hope im not asking a silly question. I would like to have you all share your experiences and knowledge.
