Not sure if this was posted before. I am referring the 3G/E/o icons as the data access icons. Only when an area is within the data coverage, these 3 icons will be displayed accordingly.

However, recently I found that at times, my data access icon went missing (hence I can't download emails not access to internet). So far this had happened 3 times.

First time - I on the flight mode when I flew from KL to Phuket. Upon reaching Phuket, my data icon went missing. I tried various ways (enable/disable 3G/Edge, enable/disable data roaming and so on). Then I had to off my phone and used blackrain to switch in on again (mine is unthetered JB).

Second time - I flew from KL to Singapore. Similar experience as the first time, I ended up switched off my phone and re-JB again.

Third time - While I was using the data service for the whole day without any issue, suddenly the data icon went missing again after my dinner. I had to switch off the phone and re-JB again.

Guys, any idea what causes this problem? Is there anyway that I can have the data access back without switching off my phone (it is pain in the ass as I need a laptop with me all the time to do this)?
