Will Maxis know that I've JB-ed my iPhone.
The reason is because I'm going to purchase an iPhone. I'm afraid that if I JB the iPhone and something goes wrong (like a messed up accelerometer) but restore it to original before I send it back to them. Would they know that the iPhone has been JB-ed and not honor the warranty?Thanks in advance, your reply is most appreciated. |

I'm actually using a JB-ed iPod Touch now and plan to get the iPhone. But then the Maxis staff said that if I JB my iPhone I'll void my warranty even though I "Reset to Factory Settings" cause the staff in Maxis centre in Gardens/KLCC are trained to detect whether the iPhone has been "Reset to Factory Settings" from a JB-ed firmware. |
