QUOTE(childish_gal81 @ May 17 2010, 10:14 AM) hehe..Singapore telco is always cheaper than MY. Yea, that was what I was referring to. Just spoke to my friend in singapore and he told me Iphone is very affordable in Singapore. Not so much difference in pricing, but their telco is very generous on DATA CAP. 12 GIG .. that is like 24 times the 500 Mb given by Maxis.Their monthly commitment is cheaper. For eg, Singtel, SGD 39 monthly (the cheapest plan) 3GS 16gb = $518 (RM1230++) 3GS 32 GB = $658 (RM1566++) 100 free mins, 500 sms and 12gb data WTH Maxis starts to charge after 500MB, that is plain STUPID SNAKE. |

QUOTE(childish_gal81 @ May 17 2010, 10:27 AM) Its different country, dear.. But data 12Gig compared to 1Gig... macam mane?cannot compare..hehe.. Hehe..with DIGI, there is no charges if exceeds 1GB too.. So, still not that bad right? Yea wor, SGD 39 means around 90++, so, idigi88 still cheaper.. So, MY also not that expensive ma.. |

I chose maxis because
1. I got a few supplementary lines under me on Maxis. It will be too troublesome to port to Digi with all the supplementary lines. 2. Most of my contacts are on Maxis. Naturally, I will definitely save more with Maxis. 3. Coverage - This is what I heard from my friends who are on DiGi - Low coverage signal when they are inside a building. 4. I chose the Idata plan, just add RM50 per month for 12 months contract. Digi binds you to 2 or 3 years contract. In telco industry, a lot of things can change in 2 years, that includes the rate plans, phone offers, etc. 5. 500 MB of data is MORE than enough if I don't Youtube (only use about 20% of the data per month ) Oh forgot to add, since it's a 1 year contract, if I don't like Maxis, I can always choose to change to Digi after 1 year. So the 1 year contract really matters for me. You won't have this option when you are bound to 2 or 3 years. This post has been edited by soul2soul: May 18 2010, 08:50 AM |

QUOTE(childish_gal81 @ May 17 2010, 10:14 AM) hehe..Singapore telco is always cheaper than MY. Those are the published rates in their website. They do have promotions drive from time to time. My friend got it for S$ 159 for Iphone 3GS and a 2 year contract with S$ 55 monthly commitment fee.Their monthly commitment is cheaper. For eg, Singtel, SGD 39 monthly (the cheapest plan) 3GS 16gb = $518 (RM1230++) 3GS 32 GB = $658 (RM1566++) 100 free mins, 500 sms and 12gb data Our telco in Malaysia is really reaping us off!
