DiGi most probably has lost most of their iPhone customers Don't forget that there is still many consumer wanted to purchase Iphone but due to long waits from Maxis has turn them down. But now they get another chance to get it from DiGi. Who knows DiGi can speed up the waiting list since DiGi well known for their friendly customer service.

QUOTE(skitZo` @ Mar 1 2010, 02:10 PM) Im on DiGi with the iPhone 3gs and i would say that in their 3g coverage area, the speed is very reasonable. No problem browsing the internet, IM and emailing. Speeds are quite fast and reliable, even with edge also not that bad. Currently with DiGi 3g unlimited data. Cant wait to see what plans DiGi are offering for the iPhone 3gS. Here is a screenie for average speeds i get during the day. [attachmentid=1462547] Compared to that speedtest.net This is what i obtain from my current Maxis 3G and my location just iPoh, Perak.
I wonder how DiGi can improve it.

I doubt digi can offer lower price for the phone alone. They will lower their rate and cheaper package. Then again you'll be tied into a contract just like what maxis did. For those aiming lower price iPhone can forget about it cause pricing of iPhone is controlled by Apple.

QUOTE(skitZo` @ Mar 2 2010, 09:24 AM) That is nice speeds in ipoh, Perak. But can you get that speeds always in the Klang Valley area? Is that speed reliable? I'm not from Klang Valley, so i can't comment on that area. Besides that speed i'm getting actually inside my house. Speed can consider reliable as i had tested weekly.

In 3 months time, we will be seeing iPhone 4G pre order from maxis.
DiGi plan is kind of a sweet deal but the performance of 3G and availability worldwide can't beat Maxis 3G.
DiGi 88 and DiGi 138 is recommended for youngsters.

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Mar 31 2010, 10:25 AM) i has been asking around.. bt nobody gif me d answer.. can i have sub line / family line for the idigi plan?? The package is more towards subscribing to new package. Added on March 31, 2010, 10:29 amQUOTE(gemenilim @ Mar 31 2010, 10:27 AM) y so concern about the 24 months? as Sg also implement 2 yrs contract. for an ordinary people, I think 1 model use for 2 years is quite common la. unless u r rich or phone maniac 2 years? is too long. even the battery won't last that long! basically you can easily save rm 2k in a year run to get the next iphone model. How hard could it be? This post has been edited by jimmylim85: Mar 31 2010, 10:29 AM
