I plan to get the iPhone from digi store today since I nt a preorder customer. The service of the digi centre in sunway and subang parade really piss me off. Those guys are really nerd and I saw a guy which is very lcly there, so I Mah ask who is that felar. They told me he is the branch manager...zzzz then went to another branch in subang parade, same thing happened..
Initially plan to swith to idigi 138 from my maxis, but at the end I surrender to their attitude and product knowledge. Maxis really won't be rude to customer and I rather pay mor for that. I think most digi centres being handle by those young guys which really don't know what's professionalism. Just my point of view, you guys can go and check at those digi centres and you will know what I mean.
I am paying 155 month for ivalue 2 plan but win higher talk time and the 1gb data is more than suffi for me.

Yup its true that some iPhones have a gap on left between the screen and the chrome. If u observe this in a dark room, you will notice light leaking smile.gif

As a consumer, we surely can tell Digi to replace it. If I were you I will LC the Digi guy as well. LC him until I got a good one  biggrin.gif

I agree that most telco not in good attitude but I never expect a manager from a store will act like "ah BEng". I don't really like maxis either but at least they know how to respect customers. I change my iPhone 16gb when the maxis stuff open up for me, coz I feel like the phone sticker has been removed, and they nvr complain or argue with me.

TO DIGI,

Please learn to be polite and know how to treat your valuable customers. Being cheap is not the only way. Don't make itself as cheap as ur plan.

Ic...

one more thing, i know tht 3G/E/0 sign on the top left corner shows us we are in 3G/E/0 coverage area, but how can we know tht actually we are currently connecting to 3G/E/0 or not? which will charge(deduct) over data charges(quota)?

I have checked with maxis centre and the 1gb data cap applies to 3g, GPRS and edge chrges. So no extra charges will be implied if you using edge or GPRS. The only prob is you find it hard go keep track of the usage for edge and GPRS as it is not stated in the usage meter.

For those really headache with the data charges, better opt for a unlimited data plan from Digi, just RM48/ month and you will not worry about the bill. Somehow you can OFFICIALLY using your iPhone the way you want and you like. You can pay RM1-2K for a phone, why don't you pay RM50 for the data?
AGREE?

But why pay rm48 for unlited Internet? I tot idigi already virtually unlited?

This is for those prepaid user or non digi user. For the new i88, i138 user there will be no charges for data even though the cap is reached, just that the speed of web browsing will drop to GPRS.
