I just breached the 3gb quota. Speed really slow. Highest 300kbps only.I bet Celcom is faster even breached quota. Or there is unlimited not throttle for them. Cause I never see they are so slow as mine. sweat.gif

Digi should upgrade their bandwidth since increasing so much customers.

Was it slow BEFORE you exceeded your quota? If not, then DiGi's bandwidth is enough, it's just that you didn't sign up for more.

I understand if it is DIGI vs MAXIS.

But now my question is the bundled plan versus the normal plan.

Maxis has ivalue (bundled) vs idata plan.

Digi has idigi (bundled) vs normal plan.

For maxis, i go for idata plan as i explained.  With the bundled, you are fix with certain call and sms, after that EXTRA charges.  For normal plan, we can go for those rate like you mentioned and at the end you gets more with those friends and family like you said.

For Digi, most of my friends went to buy an iPhone and get the RM58 internet.  So they have flexibility compare to bundled plans with fixed amount of call and sms.  Like the guys posted there, he has to pay MORE.  Like the example i calculated, if i sent 1500 sms, i have to pay more.

If we use the normal plan with all these friends and family and cheaper rate, we save more compare to these bundled where you constantly have to keep counting your call and sms.  Try break them and see which one has more value.  The sms and minutes that you didn't use are wasted, and then the sms and minutes you overused are EXTRA cost.

Why go for bundled plan?  That is my question.  Please enlighten me.  I am not saying Digi or Maxis is better.  Just asking bundled and normal plan comparison.

How much did your friends bought the iPhones for without the bundled plan? One of the reasons people buy iPhones with plan is because it's more affordable that way (price of iPhone combined with plan price and divided into instalments).

Again, we can't compared between 2 telcos from different country. Why not you compare the petrol and houses price in Malaysia with Singapore?

I lived once in Hong Kong and they're complaining that my computer table size in M'sia equilvalent to their couple's bed size and they sacrificed a lot of space to fit it in!

And for your latest question, why do we care if DiGi or Maxis leading in iPhone sales? It isn't our concern as well to be honest. I only concern if they're providing us good service enough.

You're right, can't compare between 2 countries. I mean, why not compare the safety and education level in Singapore with Malaysia?

We care if DiGi or Maxis leading in iPhone sales to satisfy our curiousity, that's what forums are for, right? To discuss things like this?

Hi guys,i just sign up for digi i88 plan..wana ask the 200mins free calls is included incoming calls or what?

Everyday i received calls more than i call out..then how to count it?
*
Receiving calls and SMS are free in Malaysia. Unless you're roaming, then you get charged for incoming calls (but receiving SMS is still free).

like amyhs99 said, you obviously didn't read the user guide. there's one speaker & one mic. that's why there's 2 grills on the bottom.

actually, iPhone has another speaker in the top, but that's the one used for incoming calls... obviously smile.gif

So iPhone plays mono and stereo music in the same way? Relatively cheap Nokia phones have stereo speakers...

Sorry for being off-topic.

after the 24 months contract period what happens? does it mean can use normal prepaid sim and regardless of which telecom provider?
*
After you bought your phone, you can use any sim from any telco, you don't have to wait for the contract to end.
