Dear Sifus,

Just wanna ask, is it normal if my Xbox is making sounds while I'm playing games? It's those sound like from the PC makes when it's having a hard time reading the disc. I can say about 50% of the games I bought will cause the Xbox to make this sound.

Is this normal?

its normal,
if youre xbox come with hardddisk with NXE interface, install the most frequent games into harddrive

that would prolonge the lense lifespan and reduce the heat risk and rrod

Sometimes i wonder why...i don't remember the PS2 and old XBOX being this loud...

modded or not, it still loud even on original disc due to lack of insulation..... maybe.
