 AMD Sempron 2800+ old CPU need some overclock, any pro pls help me

HI, my situation is here... i got my old desktop comp here... i bought it in 2005/2006 i think..

i wanna overclock it to make it faster... tired of waiting.. lol..

since i gonna buy a laptop another 3 months from now... i will just stay on with tis slow comp...
its a good comp actually, can run l4d, dota, and most nice game...

i will list my spec here... and u guys pls teach me how to overclock it... thx..

AMD Sempron 2800+ / 1.66 GHz processor
cooling system.... i nt sure... a fan? lol

GC: x1050 radeon 256mb
RAM: 2x512mb total 1Gb
power supply is 400W max...

if nid others spec, pls tell me..... i noob in overcloak.. pls help me to get through these 3 month!!!! thx! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Increase CPU External Clock = 250Mhz (Try 5Mhz increment from 200)
CPU Vcore = 1.5v (Try 0.025v increment from stock)
HTT = 3x
RAM = 5:4
AGP/PCI = 66/33


should be ok for stock cooling...


advise to format ur C drive....then install those software tat u NEED only

erm.. thx...... means overclock it to 2.25Ghz?

got link provide for step to step tutorial? lol... i total newbbie in overclock

ok.......... use BIOS to OC it? =.= i blur now.....


Added on February 28, 2010, 6:27 pmok.. OC to 1.8Ghz.... but i cant go higher... i cant find the RAM ratio control.... if nt cant tweak the bus speed to 250Mhz... phoenix v6.0 no RAm ratio controller?
