QUOTE(theCrab @ Feb 26 2011, 01:07 AM)
right now i am going to graduate under my CAT and proceed to ACCA
but actually I don't really plan to be an accountant/auditor in my future
somewhere I get to know that I can apply for BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting after i pass my P1-P9
the problem is....how is the value to this certificate?
nowadays we need at least a degree cert for living,so may I use this degree cert, counted as I am a degree holder and apply to any jobs that required degree ?
need some advise from senior
THANKS : )
Firstly, study ACCA doesn't mean you must be auditor or accountant in future. A lot of thing can do for ACCA graduate like tax adviser, financial analyst, biz analyst, corporate finance and even do your own biz. But it is good to start work in audit firm for 1st job bcos in audit line, you might got chance to see a lot of difference challenge thing.
Secondly, once you grad ACCA, OBU won't be add value to your future but just add degree for you. OBU also not easy to do and need to spend a lot of time to find information. You need to get average F1 to F9 by more than 66m, then baru can get 1st class degree.
Lastly, my advise is not spend too much time on OBU and concentrate more on P level paper. If really once to do OBU also, try "Zero cost method"1st, if really can't then baru go to college find mentor.
