Since there is HAF 932 amd edition with the dragon.... so i decided to do..... HAF 932 intel edition also with a dragon. but still unsure whether to do a dragon, maybe u guys can suggest a mythical creature that can put up a fight with a dragon, thought of a phoenix b4 but i want to spray my casing all black.. shining black... and i have never seen a black phoenix before... some more i need to make way for triple radiator. I know haf 932 can support triple radiator but previous owner mod it so it can support double rad only cry.gif ..... nvm, that is why i wanted to mod brows.gif

i start this project 2 days ago... i estimated i will finish modding by 2 weeks or in mid of March... right now i am still thinking whether to choose either an acrylic for the top panel or order a radiator grill for top panel or self mod for top panel, but self mod will look ugly cause still newbie... sweat.gif

sorry i forgot to snatch the photos while the casing are still together because overexcited after i open a youtube video that shows a HAF 932 modding step by step doh.gif

anyways this is how it looks like after dissembling it... drill the rivet out and bla bla bla

items i bought... i bought 4 can of spray... 3 shining black and the one with white cap i dunno the name but it's function is to make sure that the paint won't go off easily... the 3rd can on the pic was suppose to be shining black, but accidentally took my friend's flat black doh.gif doh.gif the sandpaper's grit is 600 and 1000.
btw the 4 cans cost rm28.00 and the sand paper cost rm2.30

user posted image

user posted image
before spraying... actually my friend told me that i don't have to "sand" all the parts... so i just cincai lah, since i am not spraying..(never spray b4 and my other friends compliment him for his spraying skill)

user posted image

after spraying and applying the spray with the white cap... also at the second pic down there u can see my shirt reflected by the shining side panel brows.gif.. actually my cam is not powerful enough to show how shining it is:lol:
user posted image

this pic above, you can see i tried to spray the hdd tray and 5.25 on my own, since my 1st time i spray i got really excited, i accidentally spray the wall doh.gif hopefully the neighbor won't notice.
u can see me taking photo of the side panel with my camera...lol... if i can spray like a pro surely i won't have to buy a mirror laugh.gif

user posted image

btw i plan to engrave this on the side panel acrylic if i decide to choose a dragon...

but i don't think the neighbor bother... i think only lah...

no idea at the moment... currently think of acrylic or radiator grill (already pm one member to enquire about the grills) or find some unused casing side panel then mod it, but don't have tools

i thought you want the same like vlad's koolance shroud. biggrin.gif

anyway since it's build on steel, go for it.. it's better than acrylic type which easily broken if mishandle the thing.

maybe you should take a look on TFC rad grill too.. it's made by aluminum (black color) and it rock solid with a thick build. brows.gif

now i can see it clearly dude, the barbs from bitspower. i thought you're grabbing some compression fittings earlier biggrin.gif

so your tubing is 1/2" or 7/16"? if it's a 7/16" you don't even need a clamp.. it looks more terrific without it like a million-dollar-pc rig biggrin.gif

use lighter or push it slowly.. it can be fit by then.. without using clamp is better because it's not easy to take off. 7/16 when put on the 1/2 barbs is super tighten already man.... it looks better without clamp biggrin.gif

why oil??? even if the oil is in solid form, it would gradually melt if you paste it onto hot surface and it might or will ruin your hardware... but if you still insist, then i could only recommend petroleum jelly or also known as vaseline...
oil has higher boiling point than water, but they could conduct heat equally the same.. but if you include solid, copper is the best, since tuniq tx3 is 6.00 something (refer to label behind), the second choice to replace it is mercury, but, u know lah mercury very dangerous...

depends on the viscosity of the liquid... oil can store more heat compare to water..

mineral oil for food ler.. not the motor one... biggrin.gif

that motor engine's mineral oil is too thick in viscosity... it will put a burden to your pump...

nothing to stun about lol... it is just simple modding.
1.spraying the whole case with shining black spray.
2. mod the top panel so 360 rad can fit.
3. and er... (secret)

just a simple mod lol.... shy to show, when all worklogs are overkill here.

i think you need to do some cable management instead bro. It's a bit messy i thought. For WC, it's not bad for the first time by doing setup like that. Maybe you can relocate back 'em for better cable management and neat WC setup. Remember, less tube is better than long tube if you'd WC it.

u sacrificed ur rear exhaust fan for the reservoir??

id put the reservoir in the drive bay next to ur pump or in the space between ur PSU n HDD bay...then put the rear exhaust fan instead.

if UT is not available then, grab DK instead. Supposed it can do the same, just it lacks of digital PWM, some accessories and mobo's heatsink only... biggrin.gif

i don't think haf932 is small for your setup right now unless you're really want to put 2 x rads and quad sLi or CF-x on WC too. wink.gif
i just saw a CPU wc only.. it supposed can do well like what madman said. even if you grab TJ-07, you'll still say it's not enough and small.. believe me.. you need to arrange back the CM and tubings as well.. biggrin.gif
