Do you know the language school you plan to enrol in? If you do, then check out their website for details on international enrollment. For visa requirement and other study related stuffs, please see http://www.my.emb-japan.go.jp/English/JIS/study.htm

Hotel? imposibble one night Rm200....if Hotel minimum RM500-2000 Per Night. Less Than RM200 only can stay Capsule Hotel in Tokyo. If Book early you maybe can get house like Hostel with Mama-San inside + Onsen (forgot what is call) but still more than RM200 Per night.

Shopping? Tokyo everywhere also shopping. Shinjuku , Harajuku , Shibuya , Roppongi Hills , Akihabara .......

okie thanks for the tips....

found a service apt in shinjuku going for just 60k yen p/week... over budget but looks value for money considering most hotels are rather expensive.... so hope they contact me back that a room is available... its for my wedding anniversary also, so quite choosy in the room selection. rclxms.gif

sad... have totally no research on japan.... so now lost where to start blush.gif blush.gif

actuallly where's the most "happening" place? shinjuku? rappongi? i expect tokyo to be fun, noisy, etc... so don't wish for any "quiet" place la biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
