I hv a situation here.

Am going to Japan, 7 days trip, will be staying at Shinjuku Washington.

But then travel agent gave me an option to extend our stay to up to 15 days (till visiting Visa ends).

I'm kinda keen to, since I dunno when will I ever visit Japan again (doesn't hav the luxury to travel abroad every now and then, and even for this time it's just a winning ticket).

But the problem is, where to stay after the 7th day? Any kind soul here willing to sort of temporarily rent a room for cheap?

Then I assume you are the one who just read a bit of news and don't understand it at all, so just ignore it and enjoy your travel kind!

The truth regarding my trip is that the air tickets and the stay at Shinjuku Washington are covered up. But that's only for a 5 days stay. However, due to this super-rare opportunity of me being in Japan, I prefer to extend my stay a few days just to get to know them Japaneses (a little, if not much) better. The cultures, the places, the people, and all.

As excited as I am in looking forward to this trip end of this month, I couldn't help but be bothered with the expenses. If it were not for the sponsor, I may not be able to set my foot in Japan my whole life. Am not from affluent family. Hence the option for sleeping on streets while backpacking around

But maybe I could try discuss with the agent in regards of downgrading. Thanks for the insights!

Now busy on final check on the plane [ Tanoshi know which one ]....Friday morning 5.30am takeoff.  Stop at Taipei SongShan Airport Refuel then Fly to Yamagata Airport.  Then using Van + Lorry go Sendai City.

At Yamagata Airport should be able see alot US military aircraft for this earthquake rescure operation

Today at Borders found a great book!!. A travel guide book for Fukushima,Niigata,Akita,Yamagata,Sendai,Iwate&Amori. All in one. Very thick book. I spent 2 hour read it then only buy it. Lol. Too attractive content.

Hi guys, anyone here applied for Japanese Visa lately?
Anyone had any problem? My family is applying for Visa, which will take 2-3 days, but i worried that price of air tickets will increase meantime. Dont know whether should i take the risk to buy the tickets now while waiting for the Visa approval.

Planned travel date is end of June.

IMHO, it works the other way around, since you can only do your visa within 3 months before you departure date, ticket price would be exorbitant by then in most cases, as most airlines do promotion for early purchase only nowadays.

Thing that people do not know is that, if you application got rejected without strong reason (like being blacklisted in either Malaysia or Japanese institutions such as financial, telco and etc). Then, you can always reapply unlimitedly until your visa application is approved. This would typically be true if the reason your that application was rejected was because your documents is not convincing enough (like bank statement, company letter, and etc).

Worst come to worst if they find out, upon check out, they will charge you the extra pax and not sure if they'll blacklist your name for doing such things or not.
