changing product code dont void ur waranty de la( change product code is as easy as 123) when wanna get waranty ma chg back lor.... and there is no waranty for u to void also, since u say ur waranty is from sg hub...u r from sg or malaysia? check ur product code here and c whether ur product code support the latest firmware update..

to change product code : u need to know urs is e72-1, e72-2, e72-3 1st; then wat is ur colour, then which region u wan..

u wanna use it to online to do wat 1st.. require fast internet? if jus email, a bit of operaing, i think digi rm58 is d best suited , as it is unlimited plus if u r in 3g area u able to tap in to the 3g speed for 3g quota monthly after quota will throttled to edge speed..

guess ur email is using the telco access point lor then.. check whether u can define it from the messaging there..

To do everything for free, you have to:
1. Download any of the world's map into PC from Nokia website. And then transfer from PC to phone using Bluetooth or cable.

Correct me if I am wrong. With Garmin, you can have free Malaysia map from Malfree etc and those are not from Garmin. For other maps of the world from Garmin, you have to pay.

Again correct me if I am wrong. For iphone, you can only have your maps delivered in your phone via telco and in the country you are in. For example, if you wanted Japan map, you have to be in Japan and download it from Japan telco. I don't even want to know the charges involved.

Not sure of other software in other phone.

while garmin still rule ovimap in malaysia.. iphone got papago.. so map also supported and updated regularly.. nokia map is okay la but not updated..
