how do i update the maps for garmin?

hi, just wanna ask a noob question.

dunno if it suits here but ill just ask. just bought my e72 yesterday. now, how do i go about if i wanna have mobile internet by using celcom's xpax? i just wanna use the usual things, skype, im, email and stuff

i googled and only found internet broadband instead of mobile internet. can use this? and the 2.5rm a day is only for bb right?

if u have the name alvin in your contact list can you type his name in standby? al7 does not show alv.. thought it should show eventhough its al7. Type alv in standby to understand what im saying

I guess u need to change the input mode to "abc" when you type the "v" since this key is set as numerical key as default. In fact it should show Alvin when u typed "al"..

not necessarily, i have a contact name "farah", and type out 4a1a6 on standby, and it does come up with the name..

yes..i can see your point..in fact any contacts with V in it seems to have the same problem..even names starting with V is having the same problem..

seems like the little little bugs are getting more & more

i'm using e71 and have no problem looking up alvin..perhaps a bug in E72 then..

is that so many bug in e72 after update firmware?

IC. now I understood d. I've tried all the keys, only the "v" gives us problem.

Yesh haha.. hopefully fixed in new firmware. E72 is still good all these minor bugs will be fixed in next firmware

Added on June 22, 2010, 4:30 pmMinor bugs but major bugs fixed.. previous firmware sometimes spacebar doesnt function and garmin not usable on it. I still prefer the latest firmware with minor bugs to the older firmware with major bugs.

imo i think the built in browser is still the best can view most websites with it which some even opera cant.
