I believe it's Shaker Edge. There is really no point to increase its skill level as increasing it will NOT increase the duration of Daze. Offensive isn't the purpose of this skill. As said, the main purpose of this skill is to inflict the Daze status. It is best used in Chain Attack instead of normal attack as you will notice that its animation is slow. Most of the time you won't even daze the enemies because of the short Topple duration. To use it effectively, equip your characters with Topple Plus gems.

You must definitely increase your Shadow Eye to the max skill since you are a back slash user, which I myself is too It's awesome.

Your strategy seemed fine to progress till the end. Though beating those super-boss will require much more strategy then that.

now im at 32hours mark of the game..just finish prison island ..going to sword valley right now.

during at eryth sea and pprison island, im trying this reckless team... Melia, Riki and Dunban....always got one person KO if not careful enough but my party gauge always have at least one or two when that happened

but this team can kill unique monsters i encountered at eryth sea pretty damn well while our level same or low one level.

now im trying melia shulk dunban..this team have crazy chain attack damage (without chain link) since melia got its talent arts full quite fast ..almost 20k per chain attack

after this gonna try melia shulk riki...lets see if this team will do well (melia damage is crazyyy)

I agree. To have Melia in your party you have to manually control her. Her AI is just not smart enough.

Make sure you utilize the elementals well, such as the summoning order. E.g Thunder, Summon Copy, Blaze, Earth. This way both Earth and Blaze will gain 40% up while the Thunder (summoned via Copy) will get 20%. There are other combinations as well, just experiment with them.

My generic all rounder team is Shulk, Reyn and Sharla. Although this team is almost guarantee to be fail-proof (no game over screen), the battle might taken long and does not require much strategy. I like your method for mixing around to find out the best team that suit your style. I, on the other hand, only mix and match after I had completed the game. I just like to rush through the entire game to know the story.

i liked to rush game too, but since my time doesn't allow me to do it...i take the game slowly

any tips on how to increase affinity between members fast and working? this affinity thing really annoying

Finished the game at 70:46 hours mark :
The story line really unexpected...and at newgame+...you can bring major of your efforts back!

Personal fav team : Melia,, shulk/7th char, dunban
defeated alot of unique monster and monster 5-7 level more than me thanks to no-miss Melia magic

will replay again before final boss to collect advance book needed (didn't get serene heart advance yet )

Xenoblade is a little hard to find due to its limited printed and worst, exclusively given to GameStop first.

Perhaps you should get in touch with Kyo for a copy of Last Story and Pandora's Tower before you'll regret it. Those are also printed in limited run and @opsrainfall trifecta has ended. Don't think you can find all these 3 titles in English again. Unless Iwata decides to hold on to his job at Nintendo and releases it digitally like earthbound.

Psst. Kyo might also have a copy of Radiant Historia if you bugged him enough. Don't quote me though.
