Hi there,

Tried to search for this topic but i am not able to. I just wanted to know is it true that i have to wait minimum 6 months if i am selling a leasehold property (condo)? According to my lawyer, he said it's due to the clause mentioned in my SPA. But now i hardly got any updates from him as i just got my CF like 3 weeks ago but i signed my SPA before 2010. He said the effective date is from the date i got the CF? is that true? Can someone please provide me more info?

Many thanks to you guys and Happy Chinese New Year !!! smile.gif

Hi Paige, thanks for your reply. But can i know what's the actual process that took it so long? mind to share more? I plan to equiped myself with more knowledge before calling my lawer. Because sometimes talking to them they can use a lot of jargons to stop us from asking more ... so to know more before calling should be better ... smile.gif

it takes about 6 months because the land title transfer would need approval/ consent from the state land office
