QUOTE(chyaw @ Mar 4 2010, 09:45 AM) I agreed! We need Pana power to push Supermx to the moon They have over 800millions sales ( properties sold ) to build.Added on March 4, 2010, 9:47 amIf you think it is undervalue, just buy and hold lor. If you play for short term, then better brush up your TA skills In fact SP Setia just saying their first Q sales this year is good too. I believe property sector is an overweight ( to buy ) sector. |

QUOTE(VyvernS @ Mar 4 2010, 09:57 AM) Errrmm....MPHB a similar scenario too, wouldn't you say so? Its got a good divvy and share buy back, but from the announcement till today it actually drop from 1.94 to 1.87... Expectation is too high from investors , then the stock would under perform ( or over pressured to perform ).I guess it's a matter of time. But recently, there's been a slate of other news that puts focus on other counters and also this week will be abit slow as everyone waiting for direction. |

QUOTE(mememe12 @ Mar 4 2010, 10:08 AM) hmm.. mayb is like tat lor.. like when Maxis ipo.. everyone rushing in to buy.. but the price is stagnant as well.. Set a time horizon let say 6 months to 1 year.If you achieve 20 to 30% return, then it is better than FD. Risk wise it is higher than FD. That is my plan. |

QUOTE(VyvernS @ Mar 4 2010, 10:11 AM) Not getting it. Does it mean that since expectation is too high, and if the stock under perform, then investors would sell the share resulting in further drop in the price? Too short a time investors want the stock to go up ( preferable within 3 days or so ).The stock I think it is good, and yet to be realised ( undervalued ). There is always a timing diff in the share market. That we call Investments per se. |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Mar 4 2010, 10:28 AM) Genting got very aggressive policy of writing off impairments and pre operating expenses ( Genting SP )That makes them overvalued currently. But less costs to take care of in the future ( in the long run ). |

BNM has to be extremely cautious.
Local funds could have pumping high millions to support CIMB, Axiata and MAS. 50pts is not likely. |

QUOTE(chyaw @ Mar 4 2010, 12:43 PM) the truth is happen to be reversed... they said will give higher div payout (compared to what stated in policy), but end up, telur pun tarak... The sad thing of XDL, is the CEO made full use of the press coverage to talk about dividends , very near to their Q results. In the end, there is none. The trust is totally zero. |

Could it be Top glove that I remember wrongly ? Sori for that This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Mar 4 2010, 01:11 PM |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Mar 4 2010, 02:00 PM) Why everyone thirst for the divv? after the ex-date, the share price will adjust base on the divv given, should be same right You win half the battle once the stock pays you a good dividend. Let say you expect 9% return a year, you get back 6% as dividend. You are on your way to achieve your set target . price wise long term share price back goes back to before ex. Since no one answers your Q, I give it a shoot. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Mar 4 2010, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Mar 4 2010, 02:19 PM) They do not perform well as what they mentioned in the IPO.So people start to doubt the quality of their reports or management. I did not go through the reports. Just copy the story here and there. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 4 2010, 02:29 PM) I have similar luck in Axiata, Telekom and IOI ( sold down stocks previously ).Some of you might have bought Tanjong at good price too. For MAS, I just took the risk, not advisible to follow me. Comparing to Tanjong, not apple to apple too. |
