QUOTE(Valentineday @ Oct 7 2010, 10:29 PM) hikari..do lakeside have any health room u can sleep at? lik those japan school...for resting purpose of coz... none that you could go to sleep to ^^" just a nurse room if you feel unwell. Can always go sneak and sleep in the library or student life center though can't be to obvious lol ^^^"QUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 7 2010, 11:30 PM) no problems...i know it feels abit unfinished and not "cozy" compared to smaller ones like the main campus. oh not to mention the location What do you mean by main campus? Lakeside on it's own is Taylor's University now. All other Taylor's are Taylor's CollegeQUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 7 2010, 11:41 PM) yesh =P ahaha yeah Taylor's is one of the very first and oldest IPTS in Malaysiap.s. Congrats for the University status...about time~ its been 40years already and considering taylors has always been one of the most noticeable private unis..quite a number of other privates have this status already QUOTE(8u8u @ Oct 7 2010, 11:45 PM) QUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 8 2010, 12:03 AM) don't worry too much. Fees will definitely increase everywhere not just Taylor's and your fees is caped if your already studying in TU. and contrary to popular believe TU can't just increase their fees without first justifying it to MQA and MOHE for approval. |

QUOTE(kane_WWE_07 @ Oct 8 2010, 11:39 PM) lol it's always been a problem to connect to theirs don't know why. Depends on luck. You guys got to go complain to the ICT Department. The way they run things totally different then TU. Only good thing I like is in the labs websites are not blocked ahaha.QUOTE(minshuen @ Oct 9 2010, 11:04 AM) I'm not very sure on how true that is. Where did you hear that? Right now Taylor's University have about 10,000 students if I round them up. Though Taylor's is targeting to be a University of 20,000 in the years to come after they start building and complete phase 2 of the lakeside campus |

You'll get corrected a lot by people in SDH etc. for it ahaha. and Lakeside and Subang is not the same institution now though both are Taylor's and also under the same Education Group. lol why you lose 30%? QUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 10 2010, 12:42 AM) hmm i think minshuen talks sbout the campus size though ahaha yeah last time they said Lakeside would open on 2009, but 2010 only open and also unfinished lol.no my 30% is only contracted for a year... whats SDH? lol If your talking about Sunway UC, it's a University College not a college though it seems Sunway is also trying to get uni status right now. If your talking about Monash Sunway Campus then they are a University since they are a full fledged campus of Monash University Australia. SDH is short form for Student Development Hub, if you know Ronson,Albert and Faith they are SDH. They are like ECA in SJ,PJ and SH but they only handle club and societies while the Sports and Recreational center handles sports clubs. Their office is in the student life center there. Is it easy/difficult Foundation in Science you mean? well nothing is easy and it depends on the person. Somebody could say it feels easy while some others might say it's average while some others might say it's super hard etc. You have to research on it an asses on how you will do in it.This post has been edited by Hikari0307: Oct 10 2010, 01:55 AM |

QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Oct 7 2010, 01:41 PM) It depends on which programme and sometimes which Lecturer as well. how about business programme ? Last time that happened to me to.Just go to the ICT department to reset your password and it'll be fine. Nothing important right now really but later on any feedback you send at the student central website will be emailed to that and any announcements your lecturer may make on anything. Unless your lecturer manually put in all your personal email address to tell you guys something then that is the email that the stuff will be sent to. |
