Whoa, I was under the impression that you had to subscribe seperately if you wanted to use I-Xcess.

Anyways, how was the parking like for this week since all the other faculties move in? I'm still on break for now, but I'll be moving in on Monday. I heard that once they start charging for parking, it's RM60/month for staff, by the way. It's just a rumour.
Also Hikari, do you work part-time for Taylor's or something?

ahaha stuff like i-xcess is accessible to all students, no need to subscribe separately for that generally speaking it's free ahaha ^^ what gave you the impression you had to subscribe separately? Last time in your campus didn't have i-xcess?
Parking still same old same old ^^" if you come really early still manageable but chances are kinda slim if you come late a bit.
Parking is can be considered ok by standards of seeing the large amount of parking available though it is not nearly enough to accommodate all students but if you come early you should get parking though might have to walk a bit. From what I seen there's always parking at the other side at the furthermost parts next to the uncompleted commercial block just no one wants to park there and walk so far to the academic blocks ahaha XD
since they can't walk through the commercial block yet have to go kinda circle the lake lol.
The main problem nowadays for me is not the parking, but the jams in the morning has made a turn for the worst >.< it's damn slow practically not moving took some time to get into the lakeside from the road >.< and for some reason this week, I didn't see any guards controlling traffic at the junction, usually there will be a few taking care of the traffic there but I don't see any this week, I wonder what happened. Anyway nobody controlling traffic made the situation worst >.< Can't wait for the new access route to be finished in July.
They will certainly charge for parking after Phase 1 of lakeside is complete by July but the rates and all is still not confirmed.
Just would like to inform that we have forwarded most of the complains about Lakeside that we have accumulated ever since the move since January up till now directly to TUC's President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato’ Dr. Hassan through some of my friends who are excos of the TUC Student Council.
He told us that all these issues has indeed reached him and discussions are happening between the top level Management of the Taylor's Education Group and also professionals from the outside very frequently to solve these problems and yes he is aware we are tired of waiting but these decisions can not be rushed and the ones they already have requires time to finish ( the commercial block for example which will increase parking about 600 more lots and way more options for food right from cafes, fast food, noodle house to specialty restaurants, when it is completed and also stuff like stationary shops and such will only be complete by July) so he asked us to be patient as they are working really hard to solve these stuff.
The only complaints that are not being taken so much into consideration are smokers complaining about the no smoking rule in lakeside, they want at least a smoking room or something like that. Personally I don't care at all about this complaints XP I'd rather them have to go out to smoke and action taken on those smoking on campus, there's a lot of better things to do in lakeside than a smoking room XP and the management doesn't seem to care about this complain much as well since they got a lot of other more important stuff to do and solve ^^
hum I do work with Taylor's sometimes, mostly I work for them during Events like Open Days, also in events like New intakes orientations,Career and employment fair, launch of the new Taylor's PhD programmes and stuff like that ^^
Kinda like to help out bits here and there as well.
