Usually I use GPU-Z to see the version or u can go to the device manager there to check ur driver version. Stock is 9.X or 10.1 I forgot edi.  sweat.gif
*
If I want to check it via GPU-Z 0.4.3, I should refer to "Driver Version"? Mine is atiumdag 8.683.0.0. hmm.gif

we ve a happy man here... laugh.gif reminds me of the day i received my N81Vp after waiting for 2 weeks... that's 1 yr ago... tongue.gif

anyway, as much as some may like the rubberized surface, one problem with it is that it is not as scratch resistant as normal plastic...
*
Agree! nod.gif However, I still prefer rubberized surface than glossy black surface which I personally believe that it is more fingerprints and scratch prone. laugh.gif

IMHO, it is better to call them 1st before you go there by yourself. As for the customs location, EvilDevil118 collected his notebook from Sepang customs but I'm not so sure whether yours at there or not. hmm.gif

I think DMC4 street fighter 4, RE5 or any capcom games are very light on the gpu, easily able to run full hd and max detail but no aa. Metro 2003 I can only run at 1600X900 coz they auto run aa maybe if manually turn off aa then can run at full hd.  drool.gif

So far u guys have no prob with the gsod right ? Btw Cat 10.6 came out edi duno how is the performance.  brows.gif
*
Damn busy recently. sad.gif I have no GSOD for the time being. Maybe I have not tried many games yet. biggrin.gif As for the VBIOS, I'm still using the stock one. Maybe after exams then I will try to upgrade it. brows.gif

QUOTE(Viperion @ Jun 25 2010, 01:00 PM)
I've just completed my order for my Asus G73JH-A1 with GenTech PC. Ken Lee was really helpful when I called him. I will keep you all posted on their service & the moment my laptop arrives. Here is some useful information for would be future buyers:

1.) Payment is not difficult for Wire Transfer through our local banks. You don't even need an account with the bank. Go to the customer service counter, let them know you want to wire transfer/TT to US and they will give you a form to fill up.

2.) I did my payment through Maybank and I do not have a personal account there.

3.) Maybank service charge is RM 25 on top of the amount you will be sending. Gentech will add USD 30 to your total for their bank fees in the US. Maybank has the cheapest service charge compared to three other banks in my area. (Hong Leong, CIMB & Public Bank). CIMB has the worst TT rates.

4.) I got a surprise free gift from Maybank for using their services. To be honest I did not expect anything after the transaction. Must be my lucky day biggrin.gif  rclxm9.gif

I read through the entire Thread from beginning to end before deciding to purchase this notebook. You can find all the information you need from the helpful members to assist you in purchasing this laptop online. A special Thank You to EvilDevil118 for letting me know the location of Pos Laju at LCCT if my laptop is held by customs for inspection. I'm hoping it would not be held and the laptop would be delivered to my doorstep  tongue.gif
*
Congratz on your newly ordered Asus G73Jh-A1. BTW, I had great customer exp. from Ken Lee of GenTechPC too. thumbup.gif 5 stars rating I can say.

notworthy.gif Hope u get ur lappie soon, don't worry bout the customs, they are quite friendly as long as u go in proper attire. I guess if we go looking like samseng they would be treating us like one I guess.  sweat.gif

I guess the A1 and A2 is in stock so future buyers can consider bout it. As for me, after few weeks using M15x I think I would prefer this more than the G73JH coz of the size. Actually both don't really feel that much of a different in terms of weight just size slightly bigger. Maybe I will get another G73JH if I manage to sell the M15x this week.  rolleyes.gif
*
Just sell off your AW M15x and buy another Asus G73Jh. Join us! laugh.gif

Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand

Thanks for the link. I'm just hoping it can fit our stealth bombers. Makes a nice and cool landing pad though  tongue.gif

I might rip out one of the 500GB Seagate Momentus drive and stick it into an external CM casing & replacing my main drive with an Intel 80GB SSD drive. Not sure yet, need to wait for the laptop to come before I make the decision  biggrin.gif
*
Wow, great upgrade I can say. I would like to fit a SSD into my babe too but for the time being no as I'm quite broke currently. cry.gif

I have a XCraft CM External Casing for my external drive too. Coincident? laugh.gif

LOL! I bought an XCraft CM External Casing for my friend's birthday sometime back. Unfortunately XCraft have IDE versions from our local distributors only. I haven't checked with Ban Leong yet but will do later. I can only get the Xport251 at the moment.

Same here bro, I just pop 5.8K ++ on a laptop. The SSD upgrade will be sometime end on the year on next. I think I will wait for a significant price drop before I purchase one. However that landing pad is a 100% go & I will get it on Monday or Tuesday if I have the time. Will post some pics when I do get it  biggrin.gif
*
I'm in the same situation with you! I'll need to wait till SSD's price drop significantly before I can lay my hands on one of those drives. biggrin.gif Do you plan to get a hybrid drive instead of SSD? I heard that it is way cheaper than SSD. whistling.gif

I read in notebookreview forums that hybrid is not really worth it. I totally forgot the SSDs are from Intel and I have an Uncle who works for Intel  tongue.gif

I will call him tomorrow and check on staff pricing  rclxms.gif Usually around 40-50 % discount for staff from dealers price  icon_idea.gif

LMAO! Let me know when you are back and maybe we can set something up. Did you move permanently to Germany or you will be back after your studies? Any other suggestions for accessories to use with our stealth bombers?
*
Yea, I would like to have a gathering with you guys too but too many uncertainties for me now.

1. I'm not yet graduate. biggrin.gif
2. I'm still not sure where I will be working in future. Germany, Malaysia or Singapore?

As for my accessories, you ca refer to my sig. Actually, I have idea what kind of accessories I should recommend to you? Speakers? Headsets? External gaming keyboard? rclxub.gif

Below Are All The videos Of My Accessories.
