QUOTE(satria_drag @ Feb 22 2010, 12:57 AM) compare this with N61 HD5870 vs HD5770... the former has double the SP and bandwidth of the latter...new version N61 got 1 3.0 USB port right ?? this G73 dont have right ?? 5730 compare with this 5870 5870 strong a lot ??? USB 3.0 is pretty useless now... nothing can really make full use of it except for SSD... |

QUOTE(satria_drag @ Feb 22 2010, 01:12 AM) oh i c...... nah.. there's still a limitation for other devices... as long as the transfer speed of the device is less than 480Mbps (or 60MB/s, which is the max speed of USB2.0), whether u use USB3.0 does not matter (which provides a max bandwidth of 4.8Gbps, or 600MB/s)...i dont really understand WHY only SSD can be support the full power of 3.0USB ?? i though any thing that plug into the 3.0 USB port then can run faster and transfer faster ?? sorry ya noob Y.Y |

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Feb 21 2010, 03:42 PM) haha. i smiled so the hd5000 series doesnt emit that much heat but able to maintain their high performance?one thing that you shouldn't be worry about laptop that equipped with ATi HD5000 Series is temperature of your GPU. its new architecture emitted less heat but improving the performances at the same time wow thats great man what about cpu? any cpu can be overclocked till 6ghz but maintain its temperature low? hopefully it will have one soon ^^ so everyone play with heat-free laptop. so this means that the gpu temp of g73 is generally much lower compared to otehr laptops? |

QUOTE(Michaelbyz23 @ Feb 22 2010, 11:29 AM) so the hd5000 series doesnt emit that much heat but able to maintain their high performance? HD5000 has excellent idle TDP... iirc the desktop HD5770 consumes juz slightly less than 20W in idle... which is far better than HD4800...wow thats great man what about cpu? any cpu can be overclocked till 6ghz but maintain its temperature low? hopefully it will have one soon ^^ so everyone play with heat-free laptop. so this means that the gpu temp of g73 is generally much lower compared to otehr laptops? 6GHz but low temp???? sure can... liquid nitrogen lor... |

I got confirm with xoticpc and noticed that they don't accept Credit Card.
It's really bad news to me and also my own fault for not reading their FAQ section. I think it's time for me to say bye bye to this baby. Let's wait it available in Malaysia and see how's it go. I'll stick with my humble desktop and a pure working notebook for time being. |
