After couple day browsing through "Casing & Modification" thread I notice that, there is none for XIGMATEK Chasis yet.
The company has produce few Chasis for consumer to choose from; "Midgard, Asgard & current latest is Utgard series.

I bought mine couple day before CNY Festival: (actually my intention was to get myself a Lancool Dragon Lord K62) browsing through Low Yat & Imbi Plaza, my eye caught the UTGARD series displaying @ one of Famous Imbi Retailer shop. After a brief of discussion with the sale personnel & giving me the chances to fiddling & peek the inner side of the chasis, I decided to get one for myself.

here goes;

Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Attached Image Attached Image

XIGMATEK Philosophy is I.C.E = Impressive | Creative | Essential

My chasis came with pre-installed 2 x 12cm (front & rear) orange white led fan & 1 x 17cm (top) orange white led fan.
To compliment the chasis I got my self 2 x 12cm CM Green led fans (90cfm). The Front I/O panel came with 2 E-sata, 4 USB, Audio in/out & 2 knobs Fan controller.
Xigmatek also provide 4 water pipes hole for Liquid cooling for this chasis. Screw less tooling for 5.25' bay & expansion slot installation.

-The 2 Knobs Fan controller " in writting based from the Xigmatek site" is RPM speed control knobs for six fans. Even so, the 2nd Knobs (B knobs) I just can't make it work, perhaps its faulty.
-The so called screw less tooling for expansion slot, I slot in my ATI Radeon 4650 its seems unstable, even after fiddling with for almost 15 minutes, its just doesn't seems to grasp solid & stable. so I decided to screw it with a small nut rather than used the palstic clip holder.

Other than that, the case seems pretty much ok, the airflow are good & the case are rock solid steady. (its weight 9.3Kg tho)

Sorry for the picture quality tho, I haven't get my Digital Camera yet (still lurking for one tho).
Don't mind the cacing tho, I'm too lazy to do cable management.

and 2nd GC which is 8600GT will be hotter,i dunno why . temp about 50 to 60 Celsius

my CPU cooler actually is DeepCool Killer Whale, the Original Fan Rubber Damper that hold the fan, damage due to my Carelessness.
So I replace the actual fan with CM 12cm 90CFM.

Currently I unlock & mildly overclocked my cpu with Vcore 1.425 and my Viper running at 5-5-5-12 at 1.9v@1008Mhz.
Attached Image

cpu fan constant running @1800RPM & my (rear exhaust fan running @1800rpm also) "the power tab at probeII indicator"
the temp u can see @ the screen shot of the probeII

Not bad I must say, the chasis compliment by 4 unit Fans (3 x 12cm & 1 x17cm) intake 2x12cm & exhaust 1x12m (rear)+17cm (top).
But am thinking to replace the Top exhaust fan with 2 unit of 12cm fan in future.

screenie below:
Attached Image

I decided not to make use of the 2 knobs fan controller, all fans connected to 4 pin molex connector PSU.

Will update again later under full load in a hot day with Ceilling fan only in my room.

Let based from the site:

Lancool K62

&

XIGMATEK UTGARD

Dimension:

Lancool K62 = 214mm x 496mm x 498 mm (W, H, D) / Price RM345

UTGARD = 207(W) x 515(H) x 490(D) mm / Price RM309

Both Casing came with pre installed rear, front & top fans
Both casing design PSU allocate at the bottom.
Both casing design with so called "screwless installation in certain part"
Both casing design with liquid cooling Holes
Both casing desing with Transparent side windows
Both Casing design with Dust filter at the bottom (psu bay)
Both Casing design with Front mesh grill.

Slightly addtional is on UTGARD is the 2 knobs Fan Controller (can control 6 fan) + 4 USB port on the front O/I panel.
HDD panel/Bay :

UTGARD its slightly conservative & use " HDD in three 5.25" bay adapter, while Lancool K62 with much prefer HDD bay. (but that depend on user preference)

In term of price: UTGARD is slightly cheaper that Lancool K62.

I can't really give significant Con's on either Chasis. its Just that price comparison, UTGARD slightly had the advantage.

UTGARD Chasis, is pretty solid, same goes as Lancool K62. (both chasis weight at 9KG++)

In term of the "PCI-E" experience, yes, its might be only me that face the problem. (UTGARD)
same as the Fan Knobs "B" that could be only me that face the experience, am sure there is others that are using this UTGARD Chasis, Perhaps they could enlighten us.

i ahve checked the Utgard at viewnet b4, looks like tthe HDD area(near the intake fan area) at below of the case, looks like gonna be no so good airflow the coz they look quiet stuffy there, in my opinion tat is. but i guess tat woulkd not be a problem if u have an extra below intake fan in the Utgard, coz i think k92 doesnt have below intake, only 1 intake at the front.

550BE and mildly OC to 3.4ghz smile.gif
But depends on your surrounding temp. That lowest temp was recorded in A/C room. If non A/C is around 28~29C.

Rest ensure, the build quality is thumbup.gif flex.gif
its will not bend or such.... unless u intend to do the bending out of any particular reason,
even so u will face challenges because chasis is a solid 0.7mm SECC steel.

but Lancool K62 solid 0.8mm SECC steel. slightly thicker than UTGARD

Kindda agreed with u, apparently not many Xigmatek User willing to share their pimp rig. I just can't keep posting my Rig pictures over & over again.
Anyway this upcoming weekend I will do clean up & adding up 2 x 12cm Fan for top exhaust, replacing the Led 17cm Fan.

Kindda agreed with u, apparently not many Xigmatek User willing to share their pimp rig. I just can't keep posting my Rig pictures over & over again.
Anyway this upcoming weekend I will do clean up & adding up 2 x 12cm Fan for top exhaust, replacing the Led 17cm Fan.
will posted new pic once done.

like anywhere as long as it follows the holes

like i seen some cases the 120mm fan is exactly the top while the bottom one is not

http://www.xigmatek.com/download/Asgard-usermanual.pdf

look under 120 mm fan placement

can't find the pc pic again

then i saw that the 120mm fan can be placed exactly at the bottom and other one not exactly at the top

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believed the Asgard & Asgard II series, could only support 4 x 12cm Fan. front/Rear & 2@ side panel.

@the First page of this Thread , there is a comparison stats for both Chassis on CPU Stress & GPU stress test, (airflow & ventilation of both casing) its yield almost equally for both chassis.

The rest & extra features really depend on user preference.

actually both also i like! haha.. i like the stealth black with orange trim on Utgard cool looking.. as for haf922 red very contrast and has all the thing i need, well that i know of.. its now the thing i want to pay extra RM100 for extra space and red in color lol.. i think cooling airflow pretty much on par isnt it?

oh ya bro, did you add 2x 12cm intake fans at the front? it comes with 1 only right.. its optional or you gotta mod it?

i would say it is quite on par as utgard also has some space in there even though u do SLI.

i found this pic, but it is a CrossfireX system.

hi xigmatek dudes biggrin.gif

xigmatek launches Pantheon !

QUOTE
Xigmatek is launching the latest of its line of computer chassis, introducing the mid-tower Pantheon; an interesting title for such a moderately sized enclsoure.

The case focusses on accesibility with a tool free design for the 5.25″ drive bays, 6 hot-swap hard drive cages (2 available externally) that feature anti-vibration properties. USB 3.0, 2 fan controllers, and the possbility and an extensive array of fan possiblities complete the setup.

Xigmatek has allowed the airflow design to be customized to the wishes of the user, with optional room at the top of the case for dual 120/140mm fans or a single 170/200mm, an optional 120/140mm bottom fan with dust filter, a rear mounted 120mm, and an optional  4 x 120mm  fans on the side, with two included for just the hard drives.

I see no problem for you attaching that Fan into your Utgard.

Who is distributor?

Added on June 23, 2011, 7:52 pmlooks like the official distributor for Malaysia is AVF, according to Xigmatek's website. Browsing through AVF's site http://www.avf.com.my/xigmatek.php?c=281 they don't bring in any chassis.

So the question here: When was the last time you guys bought a Xigmatek chassis? For myself, the midgard was purchased 2009 at viewnet. The last time I visited that shop they don't have any Xigmatek chassis on display or in stock.

Maybe we won't see anymore cases from this brand in our country. Sigh.

Added on June 24, 2011, 3:35 pmI contacted the distributor, and the Elysium will be available in our market in July!

Hmm... wonder why there are no Xigmatek chassis on their list of products.
