I have once bumped up a 2 year old (Not on LYN) just for fun. TS is ur budget higher now? Try waiting for the upcoming Desire HD. Really worth it.

Thx for fast replies. Currently budgeted less. Round up around 1k.
Or if delay purchase would buy roughly 1.5k again. Bro using Desire, fren using milestone. both decent but wanna get something diff ><! Was thinking of going cheap at Aria/wildfire. But its a downgrade of screen from amoled(current phone -samsung jet)to TFT . For samsung galaxy S, dont really like samsung UI. due to samsung jet. Preferences towards htc phones. |

Aria isnt bad, it's about the same as Legend. Only screen is not amoled. Aria is 799 with DiGi contract.. not bad...

Bear in mind that most budget android phones comes with smaller screen resolution than the standard Android resolution which is 800x480pixels.
You will have a problem with certain apps or games that don't support smaller screen resolution. For example the game Angry Bird. My friends on HTC Legend and Wildfire cannot play it because their screen resolution is smaller than the Android standard resolution. So far 1 phone comes to mind that is affordable yet have the standard Android screen resolution is: ![]() Size 480 x 800 pixels, 3.5 inches More info: http://www.gsmarena.com/acer_liquid_e-3156.php This post has been edited by pcphobic: Oct 18 2010, 09:57 PM |

Hm..Yeah i hate having small resolution. I think i would be saving up for a higher end android phone.
wouldn't wanna be fuming over the screen res while the rest rocks. I think wildfire/aria is out. Any future release phones with this specs? Specs: Amoled 3.2in above capacitive screen, 800x480pixels best if 1ghz htc sense ui & android (froyo) DivX/XviD video support out-of-the-box YouTube client, Facebook and Twitter integration Built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support SMS ( threaded view) 5mp camera OR a win7 phone? is it advisable? Have you considered X10? Super clear 4" screen, 1gHz processor, 1gb ROM, probably best camera sensor on Android, 2.1 update rolling out end of this month, excellent audio quality, and of course you can get it from 1.5k and below now
