Hi,

Sorry for bumping old topic, but I am in the same predicament.

Planning to get a hearing aid for my dad (his hearing problem quite serious), but not sure what is the budget I should prepare for.

Also, what is the difference between the various brands? Like clarisound, widex, etc.

At the moment planning to go to the Brickfields shop (Hearing Solution) to check it out as it is near my office. I read in the papers there's supposedly some promotion there.

Anyone with any advice please comment here!

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice.

I went for the Hearing Solutions one, tried a 1k+ one, but as soon as my dad gets to the lobby the noise level is too loud for him to hear anything. So we opt for the 3.7k one, after 25% discount (Mother's Day promo) it's 2.8k. Still too expensive, so we are buying only one side. sad.gif
