QUOTE(mhb @ Jan 16 2011, 04:39 AM) Elaboration? Sounds like you've got your hands on quite a number of Indonesian axes. I'm not an expert, nevertheless here is what I've experienced: I'm ref to the Yamaha Grand Piano, the C3. Couple years back before Yamaha decides to produce the lowest range of the Grands in Indon, it was manufactured in Japan. The price was slightly higher, about 5g's but you can just feel the woods and workmanship is different. The soundboard however, I wasn't sure where it was made. Certainly sounds slightly mellow compared to Japs.

QUOTE(rarap @ Jan 15 2011, 09:02 AM) neway, which part of indon shud we go to get those custom made instrument?jakarta?bandung?bali? Maybe THIS, THIS and THIS would help. QUOTE(asmly14 @ Jan 16 2011, 04:10 AM) Cheaper for sure. However I never like the quality of any music instruments made in Indon. Felt so wrong! For guitar some of them are really good.
