vidic is professional enough to identify when to slide and when not to... If im not wrong, he forced Abgonlahor to move to his left, letting Vidic in front of him, thats why Vidic lunge in the tackle. Referee saw that. Thats why he did not produce the red. Though i must admit, he deserve a yellow at least. But facts, facts, even if referee against us or what, we still cant revert the result. henry's handball couldnt be revert even when it affects the WORLD CUP, i dont see how they can make us play again for Vidic.
Vidic always 'lunged in' once he's beaten for pace.. it's just one of those things he does these days. Forced Agbonlahor wide or not, if Agbonlahor got through that time, he would only have Kuszczak to beat although the angle would be difficult. But it's still a goalscoring opportunity as Bellamy did against Chelsea(and us from the left). Another ref could easily give him the red card there. The fact that it happened so early in the game helped his case too I think.I read on some forum other forums, Agbonlahor was offside before that incident? Is it true? Then it evens itself out.. although we were punished with the goal.
