eh forgot to mention, i bought the glove with chongkiat.

his shop is located in bukit payung, k.terengganu. if wanna bought stuff with him, i think better call him directly because when I met him that day, he said that he's no longer active here smile.gif

bro charge,

for no.4, how to know about the rpm?

sorry, kinda noob here.  sweat.gif
*
no other way to know except by installing rpm meters. but those oldtimers didn't need any, hearing the engine's sound already know which rpm range they are in. but i think you shouldn't worry about that, since normal ride with stock CDI will limit the rpm to around 8500 RPM only [cut-off punya pasal doh.gif ]

http://www.gearingcommander.com/

found this website while surfing MBC forum. pretty good site to estimate the rpm and speed when wanna change sprocket and tyre. select 'Yamaha' under bike brand and 'T' under bike model.

to aaron : here's the video of my current muffler. but honestly the sound in the video isn't the same as the real one. my handphone just couldn't record the 'exploding' sound of the muffler but just 'puff puff' sound instead tongue.gif

even when i can hear like u said puff puff sound.. its already somehow i feel loud and powerful d..HAHA..  biggrin.gif  looks very very standard exhaust.... unbelievable.. hahah.. cause installed the chrome cover to it...  biggrin.gif
*
yeah, that's why i love this exhaust. looks more standard than my previous SSS. the exhaust won't sound loud if the rpm is kept constant while riding. that's another interesting fact about this exhaust.

don't you think 28mm is too big for standard block + muffler?
and of course FC will increase la, but dunno if got pro mechanic who could tune it until the FC didn't increase too much.

wahh.. I think God gave me my life back. last 2 nights, i went home after tutor session with my cousin. while cruising at around 80~90km/h, I saw a car wanna cross main road from the small road on the left side. at first I thought he would wait for me to pass through first, since he's approximately 40~50 metres away when I saw him. but suddenly he just went on, assuming that I was still far away. damn la, that time I even switched on high beam light + running lights. how come he still didn't notice that I'm just metres away? doh.gif

I quickly slammed the rear brake, that time the car was just around 20 metres away and the speedo showed 90km/h. the screeching sound of tyre and burning rubber quickly filled the air. I said to myself, 'omg, this time i gonna met an accident'. that time, i was 90% confirmed that I gonna hit the car, since the bike didn't show any sign to stop although i hit the rear brake hardly and that car stopped in the middle of the road, blocking any space for me to avoid it.

but thank God, after 10~15 metres of hard braking, the bike stopped. guess what, the bike is just around 1~2 feets away from the driver's side door. and I can even saw clearly the scars on that pakcik's face sweat.gif

so, to the others, becareful when you saw any vehicle wanna enter mainroad from the roadside. they maybe didn't notice you or didn't able to estimate how far away you are. not to forget, hold the handlebar firmly when do hard braking so that the bike won't skid without control.

which road?did the unker stop?
*
the long and straight tok adis - kuala ibai road (the road to ibai / sultan mizan / green acres golf and country club). got a junction/u-turn on a corner near mydin supermarket there. and yes, that uncle stupidly stop in the middle of the road, blocking both right and left lane doh.gif
luckily he raised and waved his hand to me sleep.gif

Either that uncle got blur vision.. or he's just stupid and wanna kill u.. vmad.gif
Anyways, what matters is nothing happen to u.. sweat.gif
Thank God ur using - what tyre? Michelin ar?
*
ya, I think so. for sure he could see me, since I switched on high beam + auxiliary light + both signal (running light).
how come he couldn't see me? doh.gif

thank God, i'm still alive and could post this sweat.gif
and nope, I used Duro 90/80 tyre on rear and Dunlop TT9 80/80 on front.

woow.... God loves you very much... i think that uncle din see u... thats why old ppl shud go retake their licence.. sometimes ppl think they can cross the road already... but actually they are not.. estimation is far worse than their expectation...

therefore.. lesson is learned.. always be careful, riders.... i'll be careful myself too...  unsure.gif
*
hmm.. maybe he thought that i'm still meters away. estimation = phailed doh.gif
so, becareful especially with uncle and lady drivers.

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Apr 1 2010, 10:04 PM)
thx goodness luck was with u dat day...well like ur case... When im staying in penang(island) for 2 years..always
encounter dis type of @$$hole$ who always coming out of junction whenever were gettin close doh.gif  sweat.gif

But anywhere u ride...be careful. Always ride safe...and like oldtime mbc tag.."Burn rubber not ur soul" biggrin.gif
*
ya, now when I ride above or near 100km/h, I always turn on the headlight so that people could see me coming in smile.gif

QUOTE(anarchy04 @ Apr 1 2010, 10:06 PM)
90% car driver always like that..when they want to change lane, they just change lane..but ppl who stop in the middle of the road, i dunno wat to say
*
me too didn't expect he'll stop in the middle of the road, maybe because there's car coming from the opposite lane.
and a few people who lepak2 beside the road also shout and became angry with that uncle.

QUOTE(serigala @ Apr 1 2010, 10:11 PM)

low profile tayar such as..?  hmm.gif
*
the side profile value is lower or the same than width, such as 80/80, 90/80, 110/70 and so on.
so the tyre is basically less 'tall' but has a greater width.

how to know the width ?? 80/90,which is the width?
*
the front number is the width. forget about the exact measurement, but if not mistaken 90 is the unit in mm for height of the tyre, and 80 is the percentage of the width compared to the height. something like that la, forgot already doh.gif

Hi all~ I'm planning to buy LCES too.. (waiting PJS plate coming only)
There has 2 quest that I want to ask..

1) does LC will easily get steal?(because my 125Z tiok steal ki  cry.gif  )
2) In Penang.. Any suggest which moto shop sell cheaper ? (I saw beside GAMA got 1 yamaha moto shop, the price will cheaper than other shops?)

TQ~
*
1. the probability is small, considering the large amount of LC on the road nowadays. not like the very first days LC is on our road.
2. this one i'm not sure since i'm not penangkia. can ask the others though smile.gif
