1)i cant seem to get the resolution to 'fullscreen' even after ive set the resolution to 1920 X 1080 form the computer..there will be black bars on the left and right side..the only way is to use the wide zoom or zoom feature on my tv but alot of details on the screen are cropped off..
2)there isnt any sound coming out from my tv speakers..
follow this steps:2)there isnt any sound coming out from my tv speakers..
-1st of all u need to install new ati driver
-go to ati catalyst control center
-click the "graphic" drop down button located at top left of the ccc window and select "desktop & display"
-u will see lcd icon at the bottom, right click and select configure
-find the scaling options, drag the slider to the right and use 0% scaling
-in hdtv option make sure your resolution is added in here maybe your lcd display is 1920x1080 @ 60Hz
-if u do correctly, the image will be fullscreen with 1920x1080 but some lcd tv need to configure to produce optimum display. sometimes u need to select "picture" setting and set to pc. what i mean is the predefined picture setting (dynamic, movie, game, normal and sometime it will include pc for optimize the pc display).. select this setting if u see in your lcd menu.
-about the sound, u need to enable hdmi audio output. right click speaker button at your taskbar located near the clock. configure the setting here. u will see a device "ati hdmi output" or something like that. select this output as default device..
-this is only available/work correctly if u use hdmi cable!! if u use vga cable, u can't produce the sound through the lcd cus only hdmi cable can send a audio signal.
if u do correctly, u will be smiling by now.
