Hi All,

I bought a 2nd hand house with the asbestos ceiling boards. I am planning to change them to plaster ceilings.

Just wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions:
1) maintain the asbestos boards but add plaster ceiling boards beneath it. This is for extra insulation by the existing asbestos board (maybe more cooling?) and also as 2nd layer protection from leaking roof.
2) or just remove existing asbestos and replace entirely with new plaster ceiling.

Which one is better?
