Thanks For explaining.
If i want to have Appreture below 3.5, i have to get another lens?
If i Want to capture a photo of a full motion of a fan, Can i use this setting?
Shutter speed 1/1000, Iso 1600, f5.6?
Will the picture of Shutter Speed 1/3000 darker than 1/30?
thanks

i only use manual focus when :-

1. very hard to focus(not enough contrast for the machine to capture)
2. lenses focus too slow
3. shooting figurines(since i nv move my camera or figurines..no point to keep focus..just focus once n keep it there)
*
But everytime i use manual focus, my camera will shake lead the photo become blur.
This problem need to be solved by using tripod? Any other method?

junior5417 : IMO, Use A when you got a big aperture lens like f1.4 or f1.8. Use S when you wanna create certain effects on how your photos turn out. Use P when you're lazy and use M when you've mastered how to control A and S. (:
*
I am New, but why when i use S the picture will brighter? but with the same setting, the M will be darker?

EV = exposure value
flash lower or higher mean? the power output? if so, at the flash compensation (for pop-up flash)
*
Where to change it? I cant find it.. Isit under the Fn Button?
And what are the differance between those flash? eg, rear, fill, wireless and so on...

what flash? build in flash? u can -2 until +2.. biggrin.gif

+1ev = +1 stop biggrin.gif
press menu and drop down to flash compens.  there u can set + or -

fill flash.. normal flash.. the shutter speed is fixed depends on your focal length

slow sync  the flash will be added to the calculated normal exposure for ambient light (if u use the A mode)

rear sync add flash to the rear of exposure of normal exposure of ambient light (if u use the A mode)

wireless.. can trigger external flashes biggrin.gif

hope it helps

just play around biggrin.gif it is nice and good to explore
cjlai : more poison from 85 1.4? haha.. funding mode customer.. biggrin.gif

junior5417 : LOL! SSS you meant? Sony's Super SteadyShot is in-body stabilization whereas Nikon's VR is in-lens stabilization. It serves about the same purpose la. LOL.
*

bright aperture(i.e F/1.4 etc..)..long shutter(if u have tripod and not taking portrait)..or lastly..high ISO

try to understand the exposure triangle and u'd not puzzled by this kind of question... tongue.gif

unable to AF usually caused by lack of contrasty target...u need to know what to choose to focus..for me..i always use spot focusing and recompose my shot a little(altho i know its not really the correct way in the book)...
*
Ok, i will try it when i am at the beach... thumbup.gif
