QUOTE(lildaredevil906 @ Feb 23 2010, 09:20 PM) while on the topic of flash, do you guys experience that if you use your flash alot, it tends to loosen? not sure bout the shaky part.. but since u didnt use ur flash a lot, maybe the contact is dirty.. that's why sometimes the camera cannot detect the flash.. try to clean the contact and see if it still happen..I doubt that i use my flash more then you guys, because now my cam is starting to collect dust, but i wanted to use flash last night, and i realize that its abit shaky.. and when tilted at an angle, it doesnt detect the flash sitting on top of the cam.. do i need to replace anything? |

QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 25 2010, 12:20 PM) Street TT! count me in for the Street TT bro.. i don't mind the route we gonna take that day.. signither: Wah, started lah the next upgrade cycle. Don't go for the Zeiss unless you can afford 4 times its amount (to fund for the expensive 'rear cap' and other accessories to go with the 'rear cap'.) well, i got some voucher from the workshop last week.. so i might have enough fund for that 'rear cap' if i sell off everything (except F42 and F58).. but still undecided on what my 'kit (and only) lens' would be (if i sell 50/1.4 as well) QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 25 2010, 01:04 PM) i think so.. because last week those guys in galeri petronas said they don't have the list for those who registered online with sony.. so we just write our name again at the reception..This post has been edited by signither: Feb 25 2010, 02:37 PM |

QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 25 2010, 03:38 PM) signither: Meditate over it, you might find that a 50mm F1.4 can sometimes be all you need. You could go for zooms... but some people eventually migrate to primes. i've read bout sawing off the hood as well. but the lens cap is attach the the hood, not sure how to attach the cap afterwards You could saw off the metal hood of the 8mm to make it 'rear cap' compatible. Then the missing link is maybe the Sony Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm F2.0 SSM. Telephoto might be the rumored budget 85mm F2.8 SAM (ugh!) or a Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro. If you're not fussed about optical quality one of those cheap 28-200mm Sigmas will do. The Minolta 28-105mm F3.5-4.5 seems to fare well as a 'rear cap' kit lens. erm, i never consider going primes all the way. might be a good option, because i already have 8mm, 50mm and 135mm ( but hey, if wanna go MF, i already have 28-80mm lor btw, how's the 28-75 SAM performs ya? saw some shots before, looks promising. how does it compare to the 2470Z? |
