Every single time. I have the bad habit of folding whatever cheques that I got, and 99 out of 100 times the machine will grumble about not being able to identify the cheque. I just feed it in once again, and it'll accept the second time. no problems with the funds not being received It's not very tightly folded, but some crease is visible
