tht is why...slow down be patient...it will arrive eventually....i waited 1 and a half months too to get my m17x. if i can wait this long so can u. summore whn my m17x was delivered i cant even get it instantly coz it was in canada n i was in mys for summer break. so tht means i waited a total of 3 months before i got it. so stop b**chin them n let them do their job eventhough i know they are a pain in the ass sometimes

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Feb 19 2010, 03:10 AM) Different people different needs. You may not need it on an urgent basis, so don't assume others are the same as yours. The M11X is the perfect companion device to lug around compared to its big brothers, and I'd need it for my on-the-move work routine. Nothing to with being impatient or otherwise, this is based on need. true wot u said but currently if uve notice all these complaints are targetting yer sales rep. Wot can they do? They do not work in the factory. Plus yer machine is hand built so takes time to assemble them and there are unknown numbers of customers demanding it. So u can't force them to speed up yer machine bcoz there r ppl who way ahead of you. Plus forcing a speed production might miss something. If uve been a past alienware owner, there are 9 stages. One are pre testing parts functionality, software and games testing. Now Dell has shorten up these display of stages to only 4. 5 of them are in the in production stage right now. It could be in any of those stages. So all I'm saying stop complaining to the sales rep bcoz all they can do is place the order, tell the factory workers and thts all. It is all up to the factory by then. Remember these are not built for mass production n ship out in containers. So just wait for it. It will arrive.Your need on the M17X may be casual enough to allow you to wait, bit every second I spend waiting means productivity down the drain. You can wait? Go right ahead. Others may not share the same priorities or sentiments as yours. Nor would they look any more leads noble or accomodating. My 2sen. |

Plus this is my 2nd aw machine. And back Dell did not interfere the ordering procedure. I spent 2 weeks staring at the same status. Stage 3 gathering parts for assembly. So consider yerself lucky tht Dell took over n able to speed up the production.
