Grease was talking bout his experience with M17x, and I did mention bout my experience with the M15x as well.

Well, like String and Grease said, different ppl have different needs then, as for me and Grease, we would rather wait as rushing the SA doesn't really help much.

Grease have his point by saying SA's duties are just handling our orders, not building them.

Erm, despite complains and mobo problems from other M15x users, i find mine in really good condition since day 1. Having said so, i'm the first to receive my M15x here i guess.

I think its a lil luck involved here. haha.

I have a question for anyone who's ordered from the Dell website.
How long does it take to ship?

My dad is overseas, if he wants to buy an M15x for my birthday present could he use his credit card from there and just pay to have it shipped to my house here?
*
Yea, that's possible. IIRC, there's an option for billing and shipping address. smile.gif

ohh okay... oh btw do you guys get a warranty card for buying any of dell's warranties( or dell care premium to be more specific)? forgive me if this is a noob question to ask as this is the first time i've actually bought warranty for my laptop...
*
IIRC, it's recorded with ur service tag. you can check it online in their database.

There's "add attachment" button for you to upload the files.

or you can do it like me, upload it to some image hosting site flickr, photobucket, and get the link and embed it here.

QUOTE(Michaelbyz23 @ Feb 21 2010, 10:11 PM)
okay, your m15x still with you right? okay another question.
what do you think, just your opinion:

lets say:
if Dell said i have to cancel off my order and make a new order+pay the penalty (if there is any) just because i wanted to extend my warranty, what do you think they are up to? they wanted me to cancel this one and order a new one, could it be because they are assembling some better components for those who ordered 3 years warranty?
as for the one year units, they give components that have higher risk of having some issue after a year.
so what do you think?

unless if dell says, okay no problem, u just need to top up another rm 473 to extend your warranty.  otherwise, they will give me a mindset telling me that they are giving better components for 3 year warranty.
*
IMHO, i doubt that. lol
