Saw this HDMI Extender (By CAT5e/6 Cable) for sale in Lelong.com. Might be use to connect to TV over longer distance but not sure how would be the quality.

Also I would suggest amplifying the signal with a splitter that has an amplifier before sending it thru the CAT5e/6. |
