Hi there,

Anybody knows how to resolve this problem? I got this error message 51-C00DF236 when trying to play divx/avi file on my mod XBOX360 and asking me to get update online via XBOX Live. I dont dare to try. blush.gif

I've tried to search for solution in the internet but so far cant find any.

There is another option that I found on xbox.com which it recommend users to update via flash drive (as below) but I also dont dare to try. blush.gif

Copy the Update to a USB Flash Drive
If you don't have an Xbox LIVE account or have a slow Internet connection, using a USB flash drive is a good option.

Note: The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system.

Update using a USB flash drive:

1. Connect your USB flash drive to a USB port on your computer.
2. Click here to begin downloading the update folder. Save it as "$SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955.zip" anywhere on your computer.
3. Unzip the File.
4. Copy the contents from the unzipped folder onto the root of your flash drive.
5. Safely remove the flash drive from your computer and plug it into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console. If your console is on, turn it off, then back on. The update program will start automatically.
6. Select Yes, update now. When you see the new dashboard, you're done.

Had anybody tried this before?

Thanks.

That is the official way that most people who don't have Xbox Live(modded or unmodded) use, so that's pretty safe.
But still, go get an unmodded set if you want better support from Microsoft =\

rclxub.gif As I said, i dont dare to try unless somebody else has done this before. I'm afraid it will permanently damage my xbox machine like those who get ban by going online. Need some real experience of those already tried it before.

Thannks.
