Just bought it from Playtime Bangsar. The whole set + Dante's Inferno Death Edition + DVI to HDMI Cable + Free one PS3 bag = RM1700. Is it too expensive? I have a few noob questions to ask here and hope that all sifu can help me.

1. Since I am a big noob here, how to register my console? I have to go to Sony Singapore to register it or what.
2. Dante's Inferno comes with some downloadable content. Can I download it using my PC, transfer it to my thumb driver and then transfer it over to my PS3? If can, is it very direct OR have specific steps to follow?

Help please. I tried to register my PS3 hardware online and it returns with the error that ask me to make sure that the country I wanna register is the correct one. When I click on "Continue to Register", it says error and ask me to login again. I bought it from Playtime Bangsar and it says that its SG set. I failed when I use MY address and trying to register SG Set. I actually called up SG and what they told me is that I need to register another PSN ID and register a SG address before I can register my hardware. Just did that 10 minutes ago and this time, successful. Case close.

Because you are rich, friend. PS3 games are quite costly and unless you have $$$, you wont buy before you finished existing game. i know some who finished the game, sell it, and then top up some money to buy another one.

I just bought my PS3 and connect it to my LCD monitor via HDMI>DVI cable as well. Working fine so far. How to check whether my monitor has HDCP or not? If no HDCP, how to get it sorted out? I dont want to face a problem where when I buy a new game, it cant play due to this HDCP issue. Thanks a lot.

I tried to connect my PS3 to my PC using Crossover cable so that I can use its internet, but failed. Can anyone teach me in detail how to get it done?

I followed this thread's instruction but still fail. The IP Test failed and then I cant connect to the internet using the new setting. After I revert back to the original one, then can connect. I have posted for help in that thread but no response. Here is faster I suppose.

How long can we play PS3 at one time? I remember when the PS2 Slim was launced, you cannot play it for more than 5hours at one go as the lens cannot take it. Is this the same with PS3 slim? Pls advice.

There r some game with "Install" option. What does this install into the PS3? I can play the game even without installing. I dont want to waste time installing and then waste time again uninstall it if it aint provide anything to the gameplay. Pls advice.

I cut out 2 piece of polyester and place my PS3 on top of it. This will make lift the bottom up and let the air flow. Cheapest and recycle also. It somehow helps take the heat away a little bit if compare to just place the machine straight away on the table.

To play safe, better take the disc out after playing. It only takes like less than 10 seconds to do that and in return, you can assure that your disc is maintain in good condition. 10 seconds only. Not too much of a hassle right?

Welcome to the PS3 world. Its xtremely difficult to find Heavy Rain R1 right now. I heard that R1 and R3 no censored but dont know whether its true or not as I myself did not play this game. Since its only 3 months, the warranty still valid. I am pretty sure that something is wrong with the PS3 oredi. Unless you are technically sound, its better to send it back for warranty. My PS3 also only 3 months old and its quite frequent for me to play for more than 3 hours straight (although not daily) and my PS3 still operate nicely. Bring it back to the shop where you bought and get them to fix for you. Its pretty rare for a 3 months PS3 to behave like that.
