If connection is bad, try adjusting ur MTU.. Try setting it at 1488 - 1492, usually it works for me...

if you bought it from sony malaysia, you can send it back for repairs.

i heard that ylod only occured when you cant even turn on the ps3..

a common symptom of ylod is random shutdown followed by blinking red light. unless your ps3 is slim then you don't have to worry about ylod.

once it fixed it will be temporary right ?

yes its only temporary... its best to get slim asap, can do data transfer from old ps3 to new if possible

if you can send back to sony, they will give you a refurbished ps3 to replace your old ps3.

but the thing is i did not buy it from sony store..

btw if i sell it how much would i get ?

better not sell , cause you will blacklisted cause selling defective thing , send for warranty

why didn't you say so in the first place?!

nobody wants to buy a ylod ps3. if got buyer, they probably pay RM300 for it if you are lucky.

just buy a new slim from sony malaysia. don't buy from those other store that sell imported ps3. pay more for malaysia warranty save you a lot of trouble later.

If want to claim warranty, Sony need receipt or based on serial number?

Buy from Sony is the best and safest choice because some stores & individual will sell you imported ps3 and claim it to be malaysia set.

i think you need both the receipt and serial number to claim warranty.

just get a new one instead ?

if your ps3 is really from sony malaysia then you can send it back for repairs. if your warranty has already expired you will have to pay sony for repairs.

if you are very rich then buy a new slim ps3.
