i fainted.............
are u sure about what u just spew out?

how do we cut power from the engine to each wheel?
use scissors la...

double fainted

============

for a FWD car.... u hit the brakes hard on a high speed corner, your ass is gonna kick out like it or not.. u cant beat the law of physics...

and i dont think u understand the concept of ABS + EBD and also the traction control....

computer can do very much faster then you... MSC my foot....

kcng... are you trying to turn the table on me...??? shocking.gif pulling a fast one eh... >>>YOU<<< are the one who mentioned "ESC cuts power from engine to the slipping wheel"
if you don't know english.. what you've typed above actually means cutting power to individual slipping wheel is it not???...

below is what you posted and if you can READ the bold faced word
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

my response... stating it is not possible... you can't cut the power to slipping wheel individually, if you cut power it has to be all wheel.

now comes the part you take your foot of my MSC and stuck it into the dead brain of yours which can't remember what you typed.... mad.gif @$$#@!&

Actually, you can. Most high performance car such as Evo X and R35 can controlled torque of each wheel independaently depending on which has the most grip. Its called Active Yaw Control.

Active Yaw Control (AYC) is an automobile feature that uses an active differential to transfer torque to the wheels that have the best grip on the road. Unlike traditional mechanical limited slip differentials, an AYC is electronically controlled.[1][2]
AYC was designed by Mitsubishi Motors, first introduced in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV. It has been included in certain models of every subsequent generation, and was also used in the VR-4 variant of the eighth generation Mitsubishi Galant sedan and Legnum wagon. Later developments led to S-AYC (Super-Active Yaw Control), first introduced on the Evolution VIII, utilizing a planetary gearset which could support an even greater torque bias than the previous system.[3][4] AYC and S-AYC have also been seen in several Mitsubishi concept cars based on the underpinnings of the Lancer Evo, such as the CZ3 Tarmac and Tarmac Spyder, the Montero Evolution, the RPM 7000, and the Concept-X.[5]
Active yaw control is based on a computer-controlled rear differential which can actively split torque based on input from various accelerometers in the vehicle measuring longitudinal and lateral g forces, steering, brakes and throttle position.[2] Where ABS brakes are fitted they too are included in the input parameters. It accomplishes this via two hydraulic clutches which can limit torque on individual axles. This system should not be confused with stability control systems which utilize the braking system of a vehicle by individually braking certain wheels to rotate and slow the car (such as Electronic Brakeforce Distribution). AYC is a performance-oriented system which aims to increase cornering speeds.

Bro what you mentioned above is electronic LSD... again it doesn't cut or apply power to each wheel individually...
LSD works by braking too... if it detects a wheel spinning freely or not in contact with ground.. it'll apply the brakes on that wheels.. freeing up excess torque which will be then transmitted to the wheel at the other end of drive shaft passing thru the LSD... Very useful for all wheel drive cars like rally cars as it'll be jumping alot.

The cover doesn't look that cool bro... and i think i might change color over long period of use...

sphiroth, need to take out the wheels la... coz brake caliper requires cleaning and preparation to ensure the paint won't flake later one... it takes a bit of time to do that... that's why i'm looking for any shop that able to do that... if kenot find i'll do it over one of those long weekend, maybe during labor day holiday....

I know that road by heart. You'll pass a water treatment plant and school. After that just loneliness.  Be careful because a lot of lorry and buses uses that road too. Before the Jabor highway was open, I usually used that road to cuts into the unfinished highway leading to gebeng.

i was wondering. I got my gen2cps recently. the sticker at the driver door which states tyre pressure (210 for front and 190 for rear) , is it reliable?

because i was following the pressure stated but when i pumped the air, the tyres were like 255psi or so. the stated max pressure on the tyre itself says 300psi.

which should i follow? thanks guys.

also, whats the average price of trading-in a set of stock rims for something newer?

and i got a free RM150 voucher for CoolWorld. Any bad experiences with them?
*
my stock rims and tires i sold for RM800 @ H2O near Kapar there. my tires were 4 months old so still good condition.... but be careful... some shop will give high price for rim trade-in but the rims they sell is higher in price to counter their high trade-in rate....

QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 6 2010, 05:02 PM)
why???

if it's just minor issues but good overall performance, you can junk it into my boot...

i need something superb in dry, and good in wet... it's not like i like to drive fast in wet (darn, i love it  laugh.gif ) but I always accidentally slowly depress the throttle and reach 120 in no time  shakehead.gif ... quite afraid of hydroplane... though i'm actually impressed with Silverstone factory fitted doughnuts in resisting hydroplane... expected lower performance in wet driving but it did good at up to 110km/h (of course accidentally tested  laugh.gif also depending on how deep the water is)
*
my stock eagle nct5 did fairly well in the wet too... i think it's the combination effect of the rim and tire... hmm.gif

Getting Re-001 or PP2 for 16 or 17inch, i rather take toyo T1-R.
I going to get this which selling for only Rm100...

Bro have you bought it? can resist corrosion and chipping means really good already bro...

QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 8 2010, 12:16 PM)
of course!!!!  rolleyes.gif no need la... let's just take it as beta version of upcoming userbar...

but if everyone wants to use it, please use ur own img hosting (i believe everyone here have one rite??)... hehe... if not, the picture might not be displayed when the bandwidth exceeded... wont be good for you too...

bt dub, will there be a second badge of sticker printing??? right now i stick one at the rear and i keep on looking on my rear-view mirror... too nice...  haha...

need to get one more so i can stick it at the front too... then I dont have to take my eyes away from the front just to look at the sticker...
*
Please include me for the second batch of CPS sticker yeah... wink.gif it's nice...
