Yes...I believe they (Jap car makers) will surely improve their car feature in future to fight back, but thats for long term solution...short term wise, stop the 2.0 Forte from coming on the street, and make the price increases

Because the designer is from Audi? He lead the team redesign the product line, especially the front & back lamp....previous korean car give impression of round lamps and body shape.

I believe many malaysian love cars that have sharp shape....square body.....

Congrats to all 2.0 owners here, finally your waiting is ended ....2.0L sure outperform 1.6 a large gap....
As a 1.6 owner I feel envy for you all , but I'm happy with my 1.6 as well, 2.0 is gonna out of budget adi (although it's the best deal of 3 spec of Forte), and I'm not gonna pay for more gas for more power & torque

Planning to do tinting to my Forte,

Since I have the tint voucher of RM150 for Krystal Cool, I just check it out at the shop there and found out some diff spec as below:

KC-2 RM1,200
VLT 60%
VLR 24%
UVR 99%
IRR 72%

Clear-45 RM1,600
VLT 63%
VLR 8%
UVR 99%
IRR 83%

Another one comes with 4mil security feature which I more prefer is:

Premium RM1,700
VLT 61%
UVR 99%
IRR 75%
TSER 53%

Anybody heard of Krystal Cool before?
Do you think it is valuable to do tinting at the shop?
How much IRR can effectively reduce the heat, since nowadays are quite hot...

Forgot to say, warranty given is 5 years...

No need say up or down grade...Forte is still new, Lancer is well-known, it comes to 10 generations adi..the reputation is there, and it won't be hit like that just overnight, a brand need some time to gain its reputation also

Regarding the boot tray, the SX version of the boot is uneven due to a round hike-up of the spare type, what happen if put this tray inside? Will it be uneven also?

I never receive any AP since first day, and my SA said no AP becoz all are consider CKD. Only CBU got the AP.

Mine just turn off everything once the engine is off, i think its good lah to have this, since had bad experience my dad forgot to turn off headlights on previous car until next morning and guess what, battery dry and need to call foreman to jump start

My SA asked my to choose Pri and Sec color when I put d/p. First I also opt for White, then Red...
After that found no stock that time, and fall in love with Bronze....then cancelled white and red....straight away take bronze....got stock also
However, looks like White the most wanted color...hehe

Forte 2.0 is using Electric Powered Steering right? Should be the same as NHC? I feel that NHC steering is very light at lower speed but become heavy and heavier when speed up...
My Forte 1.6 steering is even heavier than my sis Atos...I can't steer with 1 hand but with Atos I can!
