RM1K can get wat...Samsung and LG. Mine got like a few years back. Around RM1K only, SAMSUNG HT-30 i think. So far so good.

But seriously, i dun use the DVD player at all. Just use it as amp/speaker in the bedroom. works fine.

Nowadays, it's better to get a dedicated HD media player and connect it to the amp/speakers. DVD is so last decade.
