i think the fonts is easily cook leh...saw the Don MC cook ware only 22+ Mb still left ~10Mb can be utilise...

u asking for the theme or theme effect?? both are different thing lah...

some comment on the "3" item:

the original APAC (from my phone) have 3 fonts included within the firmware:
1. S60SC_C.ttf > 3.17Mb
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf > 2.89Mb
3. S60ZDIGI.ttf > 33.53Kb

but from my experience the Orange Tornado HS will showing all those square box with these default screen which make me think it's because Orange only making it available for EU/NA/SA phone and not for APAC.
with these default fonts i do can see chinese language but not sure about korean/japanese language.

then for the Orange Tornado HS to work modder suggest have to install below fonts:
1. S60SNR.ttf > 433Kb
2. S60SSB.ttf > 427Kb
3. S60TSB.ttf > 439Kb
4. S60ZDIGI.ttf > 33.53Kb (from what i've experience when putting this into the E:\Resource\Fonts it will make the phone fail to startup, double check and found this font is EXACTLY same with the firmware font where suspected causing conflict if install into e:)

so for me if we would like the Orange Tornado HS to cook into the firmware and can show all menu items as well as chinese language support, i will cook below fonts into the firmware:
1. S60SC_C.ttf > 3.17Mb
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf > 2.89Mb
3. S60ZDIGI.ttf > 33.53Kb
4. S60SNR.ttf > 433Kb
5. S60SSB.ttf > 427Kb
6. S60TSB.ttf > 439Kb

for korean language support I might suggest below fonts into the cooked firmware (if possible to include it in lah coz the overall firmware do have size limitation)
1. LT_wjq135.ttf > 9.65Mb (this fonts support multiple language included the chinese/korean/japanese/thai/lililala)
2. S60ZDIGI.ttf > 33.53Kb
3. S60SNR.ttf > 433Kb
4. S60SSB.ttf > 427Kb
5. S60TSB.ttf > 439Kb

wow... those PNHT guyz cooked the fw soo hard and fast during the editor beta testing....
i will be off for CNY and hope after CNY we might have the ULTIMATE mod (of coz not in all area lah but those important fixes/mods)...

i know why u no need those coz i've seeing the Don MC cfw have the other 3 S60SNR.ttf, S60SSB.ttf, S60TSB.ttf install in it's firmware (now your phone language pack not the APAC language pack anymore) can u check and see u can display the chinese language or not with your current firmware??

but we are getting there soon.... more tools will make available as well as guide...

hmmm... is this showing us there're still more to be discover on the firmware as now all modder only able to play with the .rofs2/3 file and not the .core

XM, can check and see your Z:\Resource\Fonts folder have what inside? check if those chinese language fonts not there?

aik?? sama sama here leh... ur e:\resource\fonts or c:\resource\fonts got anything or not??

why ur S60ZDIGI.ttf soo big in size??? u might need to use the font reader to check is it genuine s60zdigi.ttf or a "renamed" fonts hehehe... i have both s60zdigi.ttf both only ~34kb in size leh...

Added on February 9, 2010, 6:20 pmi do notice the phone able to reinstall back some of those "signed" apps after the hard reset... so thinking it might storing something on the E: drive for those installed apps info... only donno where leh... maybe the E:\ sys/system/private folder?

if not later ppl asking "why the heck u can get ur tornado working only with the s60zdigi.ttf installed??"
i think no matter what name we change the system will discover the actual fonts name and load it if it been put in the right place...

hahaha... it's because u have the proper fonts been place inside the c:\resource\fonts but only with the confusing name changed hahaha yup i do agree the tornado only need 1 supported font for it to show those menu items, but the original modder just simply ask us to copy all 4 fonts for the EU/US region to fix the square box error...

i've extracted the PNHT 09FEB cfw and it don't have chinese language support...

use the editor to extract > copy the chinese fonts > repack > flash?? i think it might be work out loh...
but make sure u know how to revives if the phone brick...

we're lucky to have the 5800xm, as it's the first nokia smartphone that able to be hack into the Z: drive...
of coz the others nokia smart phone will be follow as the technology about the same regarding the file system....
