QUOTE(evoHahn @ Jun 17 2010, 08:25 PM) i read somewhere that it took them 2-3 days to finish one car.. so 800 cars * 3 days = 2400 days = 6 1/2 years Lolz Thats why they delayed 8 months; to adjust the trees. Plus to model the racing track, crowds, and TREEESSSSSSSSSSSSS lolz This post has been edited by Ninja: Jun 17 2010, 08:31 PM |

Some infos on face tracking:
GT5's Face Tracking Feature via PlayStation Eye ![]()
By utilizing facial recognition through the "PlayStation Eye", you can move your face to the left and right to move your field of vision while you are driving in a race. 3D and face tracking are both attractive features by themselves, but combined together, an even richer, high quality world of "Gran Turismo 5" is made possible. By moving your face parallel to the screen, you can change your point of view (field of view). This makes possible a sensation as though you are actually inside your chosen car. |

Yeah, no need buttons anymore to see left and right. Just use our face enough already.

I keep wondering about one thing;
Sony or PD never mentioned that November 2 is worldwide release. It's for North America. No release date given for Europe and Japan. High possibility Japan will get GT5 early. |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Jun 18 2010, 04:29 PM) evo macam lah tak biasa beli 2 version. Infos on GT5 damage features: ![]() 3 Levels of Vehicle Damage Not only does the looks of a car change when damaged, how damage is received, and its resulting effect, is closely replicated through a physics simulation. Damage is expressed mainly on three levels, and there are some differences between the Premium cars and Standard cars.

QUOTE(chris@cstorie @ Jun 22 2010, 03:49 PM) Nope, his older brother; G25. QUOTE(aaron_15ryderz @ Jun 22 2010, 03:52 PM) Yeah, easy for storage as well. I think with simple DIY, can attach metal bars at the bottom to a heavy wood-plate for better balance and grip.This post has been edited by Ninja: Jun 22 2010, 04:00 PM |

Another collector's edition planned for GT5?
“Two Collector’s Editions” Planned for Gran Turismo 5? The Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition was announced at E3, but now it seems that may not be the only special version of the game Sony has plans for. Speaking in an interview with IVG, head of Sony Computer Entertainment India Atindriya Bose clearly discloses that there are “two collector’s editions” in the works:
Product listings at Amazon.fr support his statements, including both the “standard” Collector’s Edition for €99.00 and a more mysterious “Gran Turismo 5 – édition ultime” listed at €189.95. Hopefully details for the “ultimate edition” will be finalized in time for the next round of GT5 revelations at Germany’s Gamescom next month.
