I did the math already. the difference between ordering at amazon and local seller is around RM40 ~ RM50. If the local seller include shipping cost , then you save a lot. If not, its about the same - cost of petrol, parking and meet the local seller.
Amazon do shipping 1-2 days before the street date. |

QUOTE(kakuta @ Oct 18 2010, 05:17 PM) hey, but erm the R1 pre-order from gamestop/amazon does include special in-game cars specially for the order sites right? Yes. but ... QUOTE When the Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition was first announced, Sony said “quantities will be limited”, but they didn’t go into details. It looks like they weren’t kidding, though, as two of arguably the most popular US gaming retailers- Amazon and GameStop – have both stopped taking pre-orders for this version of the game. Customers who already reserved their CE copies have not been contacted about any problems or changes with their order, but both retailers have taken down their respective product listings (old links here and here are non-functioning or direct you to the standard version). Amazon and GameStop have been the most aggressive promoters of GT5, with GameStop securing exclusive content for the game and Amazon offering release-date delivery, attracting the most links, attention, and presumably orders. Added on October 18, 2010, 5:47 pm QUOTE(maryjane9996 @ Oct 18 2010, 05:44 PM) well Motorstorm can do splitscreen and so does Burn Out. Actually i prefer Multiplayer Online than split screen. This post has been edited by evoHahn: Oct 18 2010, 05:47 PM |

QUOTE(hewtwok @ Oct 21 2010, 11:56 AM) since gt5 allows transfer of cars from gt psp, so basically the 800+ cars in psp version is part of the gt5 1000+ cars? yes. QUOTE(vampire_man182 @ Oct 21 2010, 11:12 PM) No. Fast sequence in 3D makes me dizzy On the other hand , some info from Cars Magazine QUOTE The fifth installment of the Gran Turismo PlayStation epic has slipped back from 5 November, probably to the first week of December 2010. But this month’s CAR Magazine – on sale now – reveals the new game’s hero car, the ultimate track racer designed by Red Bull and GT coders Polyphony. http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/News/Search-R...of-GT5s-launch/ credit to analog of gtplanet This post has been edited by evoHahn: Oct 21 2010, 11:16 PM |

QUOTE(Perunding @ Oct 22 2010, 12:47 PM) it a rumor before by the russian seller...anyway no issue about the region lock...everyone is free to buy wat region they like.. that's not rumor, its an official statement by russian retailer that they having difficulties in securing stocks for november 3rd release date. Peeps on the net then speculates that there will be a delay in GT5 release. so the rumors started by people on the net, not the russian retailer LOLz |
